Maybe if so, Mike wrote some of the bass lines during the morning view album when Dirk and the band were distant and ready to go their seperate ways.that would make sense because that album was Dirk's least impressive work hes ever done(in my opinion). but i can gaurantee that the signature bass lines that Dirk was known for, were made by Dirk.

@plus44fanatics This album is NOTHING like Light Grenades, so why would fans of that specific album have strong feelings towards INNW? I hated this album when it came out. And then I listened to it. And then I loved it. I don't think its anywhere near one of their best, but its a beautifully orchestrated album. I like a lot of their other stuff better, but this is where their at in their lives right now. They just had a 5 year break of hangin out and spending time with loved ones..

Idk about you. but the way Ben changed up the Warmth is fucking AMAZING. i love em both. but yes, i do prefer stuff like Make Yourself and morning view and science over aclotm and stuff. but i love em equally

also, its NOT about the sucess its about the music, while sucess is good because then more people are likely to hear of them it can also change a band (thank go that hasn't happened with incubus)

I feel like the chorus's arent as catchy with this album. None of them stick in my head. I suspended my belief and put a hold on passing judgement the last 2 albums, i felt like they'd redeemed themselves with light grenades, at the very least they were great songs. Whats lacking for me is the creativity with Guitars & drums. But thats me personally, and i feel the need to say it now. I wish like some many people they just make an album where theyd go ape shit.

@andyremains I disagree, Incubus is my absolute favorite band, but some of the songs off the new album were a let down (not this one.) I'll have teachers that say whats your favorite band and I say "Incubus" and all the little kids in my French class that also love Rihanna, kesha... etc...say "Oh i love Incubus". (My school is 7-12) It somewhat shows that they're not as great as they used to be! They're hardly a rock band anymore, what happened to "Morning view, Make yourself "

@fender210 Most definitely, They're still a solid band though man. These b-sides,,, this one especially is testament to how deep they're sound goes. Incubus has struck gold back in the early 2000's in regards to the chemistry and mad alchemy these wizards cook up. listening to this I can hear that there's much more to come
