Nothing dirty happened in this competition, it's just that you must not forget that though this is a talent show, it is still a business, which is why text votes do play a big role. more text votes means more people really dig the person to a point that they would even pay just to vote for him. Consider it as an investment the company did so they would earn more off of that person which in this case is Sam.

God truly blessed her and understands her struggles in life.
