Apple did a good job with the new Nano and Shuffle. They basically split the old Nano in half; the top became the Nano 6G and the bottom became the new Shuffle =D

Not for runners. You have to use the apple ear buds, when they get a little moist it kills the volume.

Replacing my old shuffle with this one was a huge dissapointment. The earphones don't suite me and no aftermarket headphones have the controls. This also makes it hard to plug into the car stereo to listen to your own music. Apple are also anti competitive forcing you to use iTunes with this product which stops you even seeing the content of your shuffle. Dont buy it.

@kymb0 Not true at all, you can get an adapter at any Apple store designed by Belkin. I have used my iPod Shuffle in the car and with Beats headphones, the adapter is only around $15.

@kymb0 That I don't know about, as far as I know, you have to use iTunes, which I admit, can be a pain. But if you already own one, I'd suggest trying it out for a while. The mainly annoying thing about iTunes is setting it up with your own music the way you want, once that's done, it's pretty easy from there.

each iPod caters to different people. the shuffle is basically for people who prett much only like to listen to music when they're doing something. the classic is basically for people who have a very, very large media library and like to have the whole thing with them. the nano is for people who like something sleep and small that they can listen to music and watch video AND record video. the touch is basically for people who like the apps and games, and they would like a touch screen.
