ok. I have an iPhone and Cowon D2. I use Cowon for music and iPhone for other things. some people say "why are you using cowon if you have an iphone with built-in iPod app" and i answer "because your fucking iPod could't sound like cowon". Cowon sound is a way better! Neither i am a fan of apple nor a fan of cowon. I just say what i think. i compared the sound and choosed the best.

Hate to punch a hole in your little fantasy but mp3 players were big before Apple turned up. Also Cowon has been making touch screen media players for years. yep even before the Touch. I would go so far as to say Apple totally ripped of Cowon as the interface in the S9 is an update not a new release.

What are you on? the Cowon D2 started the touch craze, but dumb people like yourself were using your normal piece of crap iPod to realize that there was better equipment out there. The S9 kicks the iTouch's ass.

No, the S9's motion is brilliant. iPod's one might change a bit faster, who cares? the sound quality, video quality, the flash games and apps and even the add ons that Cowon will hopefully add to the S9, will make it the ultimate mp3 player on the market. Forget your WiFi aswell, allow looking at tiny webpages on the train before getting stabbed. Then after you are stabbed, they see that its not a Cowon and throw the iTouch back at you.

iPod Touch bows down to the Cowon S9. iPod Touch cannot compete with the Cowons superb quality, format compatibility, drag and drop file storage and most of all, we aint gotta use GAY iTunes.

S9 can't play AAC(Advanced Audio Codec) though can it? And nor does it have specific support for podcasts, like displaying show notes, or resuming playback from where one left of.

Even most mobile phones can play AAC these days.
