I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Mercedes vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and EFi injectors clean as new!
@killerzracing71 runs 12.60's like a throttle stop car super consitent, have went high ten's with a 200 shot but it was a shitty 60 ft time spun pretty bad
@kennethrobinson11231 hey jack off why am I a punk?, because I tried something differrent?...what the fuck are you talking people down for no reason I went to your page you look like a racist piece of old conservative right wing shit, I may not have the coolest thing in the world but me my brother and my dad built it and its mine I'll rev it up do burnouts, and run it down the 1320 all the damn time, and the 330 dirt drags when I fill like it. so fuck you you racist dick
@twisselman1968 Riv. it up, that makes you real bad ass. Anybody can riv. it up. All riv. and no go. Only punks do that shit. Put it on the road and get on it boy.
@kennethrobinson11231 why don't you read a little more I have drag raced this car off and on for the last six years, I've been to ozark drag srtip in rogersville,mo sikeston, been to gateway int a couple times with it and I even went to george rays in Paragould, Ar. I havent had the car out this year I have been laid off since sep of last year but I think I'll get it out and make a video if I can get someone to run the camera....but whats funny I don't see any videos on your page? punk
@huzzler631 thanks man for not bustin my balls and stickin up for me a little there, I sold this car now to my brother in law and he's working on making it a little more street friendly and putting a cage in and disk brakes, he's not a big fan of manual drums and 12 second passes
@confederate350 the rockers are still stock, the ones that everyone says won't work at this level but I made do cause I didnt have the money to drop on rockers when I was building it, I had to make some shim packs to get the lash set right on all of them cause I'm running the anti pump up lifters so I needed .000 to .002 lash so I tried to get them all right at .001
huge difference in low and midrange torque but throttle response was a little laggy with this carb compared to the 850 that was on it before, not a huge difference but i noticed it
can you feel the difference with those annular boosters? they sure do look neat when you're romping it on the video: they seems to engage real early (which is what they're supposed to do)

You've never taken this car to the track to see what kind of times it runs? I've got the first MT15 cam when MTS was owned by Scott. Is this the same cam?
@misterbutterfinger I've been in the low twelves N/A and it went 10.86 on a 200 shot with a slow 60 foot didn't hook the best but the car will run 12.60's all day long
@twisselman1968 N/P guy. people don't realize what it takes to get a car in under 13 sec. especially one that wasn't ever designed to do that. these guy's watch NHRA and see john force doing 4 sec. times and think anything less than that is slow.
Do you know how much power it puts out with that cam? I was debating between that one and the #20 for my build. I was looking for a minimum of 500 hp & at least 600 ft lbs of torque.
well I can understand your few on the ss emblem but its on there is a for a few reasons and it, one its a chevelle front clip and I like the look, two a friend of mine nick named it the stang slayer...now before mustang drivers start slaming me and my car I know theres alot of mustangs out there that are way faster than my car and it has been outran by mustangs before but there were alot of 5.0's that ran around when I built this car and it had its way with most off them and so it was named
i bet that thing gets down

Car sounds good, love the big Cad motors.....what rocker setup are you running in this motor, is it a shaft mounted setup?
Also what compression?
Thanks and good luck
