  • this is just made up

  • @MyLegoMovies999 NO SHIT

  • lol Kreeepy !

  • the last pic isnt the joker its a guy from twisted metal

  • Do you wanna know how I got these scars??? Well, lets just say I had a mean dentist!!!!!

  • The Mark Hamilton Joker fell into a thing of chemicals. Heath Ledgers joke had mommy issues.

  • joker begins by being the red hood then falls in chemicals ?

  • That's more frightening than Heath's Joker! you scared the shit outta me! are you making more videos of the joker?

  • You scared the shit outta me!

  • joker is good

  • if you call it the Comedian, they might mistake it for Watchmen haha

  • this is fucking GAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY haahahahahah oh shit... im out of here

  • LOL.

  • that was very fake. they don't even have the same joker, or the joker laugh. and since heath leadger died they said they would not make another one

  • Sorry, but the Comedian already has a movie. It's called Watchmen.

  • is this the real 1 or r people makin lots of fake joker tralier

  • @LittleNikki94 I am attempting to make a Killing Joke film for my talent show. I just need to know how to make the Red Hood. CRAZY ASS TRAILER by the way!!!

  • the damn prequel is called batman begins ever herd of it? dumbass

  • @SebskaterdeckBmx8 lol agreed. the prequel to dark knight is batman begins. This was something of a prequel to joker's introduction i guess. Perhaps the uploader needs to call this not a prequel, but an origin story lol

  • @LittleNikki94 yea they should put that onto a movie BUT IT IS TOO DAMN SHORT plus they used some of the killing joke material for the dark knight

  • FREAKIN AWSOME DUDE! GREAT STUFF!

  • hey man great job!, im actually working on a short film and was curious about what program(s) you used to make this. my laptop comes with windows movie maker, and i can do decent stuff with that, but have any ideas to make something legit with? i have made a short movie, in spanish for a project at school which got me intrested. i've also made a couple of trailers for the sequal in english.

you can youtube Daniel Auman for the movie, and Blood mystique for the movie trailers.

  • @Daniel99411>>>>>>>dude why are you even trying to make short films or any films if you dont know what programs to use.......windows movie maker lmao

  • @dobunz

never said i was an expert ... i just got into this sort of thing.

  • scary

  • pretty creepy

  • I hope you do make this into a movie on here I would watch it!

  • they wont heath's dead

  • Very funny lol

  • this is for real ?

  • that was trippy.

  • my origin on the joker is bcuz he lost his wife he now has nobody....nuthin to liv for so he gave his self a permanent smile to remind his self what he used to be and he jsut doesnt care bout his life anymore

  • wow!

  • love it!!!!!! bt dats nt for tdk, it's for Jay.

  • wow this looks pretty damn awesome!!

  • ...3 stars. so defiantly worth taking a watch.

  • *has a heart attack from sheer happiness*

  • There are several stories of where joker came from i think it will never really be resolved and any writer who tries is just wasting their time.

But of all the different stories my favorite is from the 89 movie. A hit man for the mob who was intelligent but always a bit unstable until something finally pushed him over the edge.

  • no the story from the old cartoon was that batman was trying to save him from falling into acid but his glove was to slippery so he fell in and it burned his face so he wears makeup to cover it and thats why hes after the batman

  • no the origin from the cartoon is that he fell into the vat of acid and it bleched his skin and gave him a permanant smile, its the same in the comics, the joker never had "scars" or ever wore make-up he fell into a vat of acid and bleached his skin but the thing is no-one knows how he really got there, theres the red-hood origin and theres loads more, but the constant thing is that acid bleached his skin white made his hair go green and gave him a permanant smile

  • That's only one origin, but in the Original origin he was married and worked at a plant then he became a Comedian to try and pay the bills but he failed at it and his wife died in a freak accident, the same day he was forced to help these gangsters break into his plant and when Batman arrived he was kicked into the acid that's where this origin comes from

  • Actually that wasn't in the original origin, that's the man who laughs origin written by Alan Moore I believe. The original was the red-hood story. Batman #1.

  • Really? I always heard that the very first origin was the Killing Joke where he had a Pregnant Wife and such and that the Red Hood story came after.

  • Sorry, I got confused there. The prgnant wife one is the killing joke not the man who laughs, that was my mistake. But the erd hood was the original story, Batman #1 has the red hood faliing into a vat of acid and he becomes the joker.

  • Ah ok

  • Joker's had so many origin stories it hard to count on one of them. It's what make him one of the best batman villians, his life is a multlipe choice, even The Joker stated in a comic once he love that fact.

  • Yeah I know that's what I love about him he is a total mystry

  • @siddistick It is def. one of the best things about him. He's a comedian, a mobster/mob boss, chemical engineer, Super-Sane man and a grief stricken husband, near suicidal criminal and a very sick boy.

    <3 Joker

  • @KimikoAmaya818 Haha, very well stated my friend :] Gotta love all his shining qualities!

  • that story doesnt appeal to the dark knight franchise, as the jokers face isnt burnt.

  • really? I'm not a big fan of that. Like you said, there is no origin. Joker says something about it, like "If I'm going to have an origin, I'd like it to be multiple choice". I like that

  • alan moore's idea in the killing joke was pretty ingenious:

"all it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy"

  • There already is a prequel to The Dark Knight. It's called Batman Begins.

  • i think he worded it wrong, he wants to do prequel for the joker!

  • no a prequel is a sequel that is based events before the original story

  • @nazdreg75

That's because this was uploaded in the year 2008.

  • you do know that the joker is a psychopathic monster and psycho lie all the time and sonde so truthful pepole belive them you cant belive a word he say he may of made it all up on the spot to fuck with youer minds

  • man that laugh scared the shit out of me

  • me too XD

  • omg this was disturbing...i'm shocked.but it's well made

  • that scared the hell out of me O_O

  • well u lot are rong he does watch teh original bat man fims u will see it was batman who did it to him he made batman wenhe killed his perents and batman made joker wen he pushed him in a tank of asid

well that was the original bat man film with michael keton i think thats his name lol

  • Well, the joker origin in the 80's is not THE joker origin. The title says The Dark Knight Prequel. He's assuming what happened to cause the origin of Heath Ledger's joker.

  • i think they will make it where he loses his mind with like problems with his wife jeannie or something...i hate the whole idea of him falling in a vat of chemicals..it's stupid and unrealistic.....Heath's Joker could be real.....

  • They did scars to replace the traumatic event of falling into chemicals, but they both serve the same purpose. The only reason they changed it is so it would fit the real world better. Some stuff works in the comicbook world that just doesn't work in the real world. Jole found that out the hard way. May that man go to hell for batman and robin

  • so true my friend^_^

  • yeah but that's like the only interpretation where joker made batman. I have yet to read a comic where its like that

  • Love the twinkle on the eye. Whether the Joker has an origin or not, we gotta know where's he from.

  • Offically the Joker doesnt have a orgin but authors try to think of legitmate orgins for theres quite a few, my favorite is the one from The Killing Joke

  • yea joker doesnt have an origin story, thats the charm because nobody knows what made him that way not even himself.

  • Since when did The Joker have no origin?

He has done for like...20 YEARS!

His backstory is what makes him such an amazing villian!

It's unfortunate that The Dark Knight didn't explain it, that way it might've been a good film

  • Wrong, he started out with no true origin. Many comics have had their share of writing an origin story, but there is no original beginning of the Joker.

  • He still had a slight origin story back in the 70's with the Red Hood storyline

I just didn't like the way that Chris Nolan AND Heath Ledger BOTH used the Killing Joke as main research into how they would represent the joker. I didn't see any of that coming through

  • You should read Arkham Asylum. It says that he his origin is all mixed up in his brain and that it changes every day for him. He may not have been the Red Hood, that could have been a story his brain made up for him.

  • No, when they introduced the character in 1940 he had NO origin what so ever. And when Nolan said he was using The killing joke as reference for Joker's origin he was referring to the line "Something like that happened to me once I can't remember exactly what sometimes I remember it one way sometimes another, if I'm going to have a past I prefer it to be multiple choice." Whether it's chemicals or scars it doesn' matter it's not what the event did to him physically, its mentally. :)

  • First of all, why the hell would your main source of research be used only for 1 line in the unnecissarily long "movie"?

And the idea of how the scars effected him mentally? It didn't even explain thaT!! All the dark knight did was go "look, it's joker. He has scars"

If it at least came up with a shitty origin story I'd have some respect for it. But as it stands, It's just a load of over rated franchise raping bollocks!!

    Also, WHERE WAS HARLEY?!?!??!

  • Its not the one line that was used as research for the joker in the killing joke, what they took from that book was his style of thinking. It didn't have to explain that because the only one who could really know what happened to make the joker into the joker is the joker. Arkham Asylum (serious ect) shows us that joker changes his method of thinking day after day so he doesn't know what happened to him he just knows he hated it and that he wants to cause chaos against the joke of humanity he fe

  • ll for. and as for harley you can't throw her in in joker's introduction to the series because she wasn't around till like the third or fourth time Joker was sent to Arkham. So if they did they'd either have to skip over years of batman's life or just give fanboys something else to bitch about cause it wasn't exactly like the comics. What people forget is Nolan is giving a real world account of batman, and in the real world people don't fall into chemicals and come out with no skin color.

  • Why give the Joker Yet ANOTHER introduction to the Batman franchise? It's been done before! It doesn't need doing again! And as for the way he thinks. He's a lunatic who likes blowing stuff up, do you really need to come up with the whole multiple backstory and yet no origin thing? And I know Nolan is trying to make Batman more realistic, but in what real world do billionaires jump of buildings with magical disappearing capes which allow them to fly? And don't even get my started on the pod!!

  • Besides, Batman isn't meant to be realistic! 80% of Frank Miller's comics he punches Superman in the face!!

Would people like him or two face or killer croc or the penguin actually exist in the real world?

    HELL NO!

And by the way, this whole argument happened because someone said the Joker had "no backstory" all I pointed out was that he's had one for "20 years"

Everything I said was perfectlly true so can you heath ledger fanboys stop pissing me off!!

  • The point of giving Joker a new origin was to introduce him to the real world. And none of his previous origin's where very real. The point of having him give multiple backgrounds is to pay tribute to the comics and to intimidate the people around him. As for Batman, trauma does strange things to people, as for the jump, that was real. The way they presented it was fake but it was a guy on a glider and people are working on mem cloth in certain labs. As for the pod, they actually built that bike

  • But in year 1 what is it that he does that's a stretch from reality, cause they have been able to bring bats and other animals to locations using sound (see dog whistle). As for Two face, burn victims come in all shapes and sizes, after that it's motivation. Killer Croc is a circus freak and was never meant to be real so you can have him, and penguin pre Danny devito was just a short fat greedy power hungry guy with a monocle and a nickname. Batman removed from the rest of DCU has the potential

  • to be real. And as for Joker's origin in the killing joke, 1 Alan Moore nor anyone else in DC said it was the definitive background of what made the Joker. 2 it discounts it's self when Joker talks about his past leaving it to only be what he came up with that day. For all we know maybe he didn't fall into a vat of chemicals to try and help his family maybe he bleached his skin after his wife left him. Anything is possible with the Joker. And btw I'm not a Ledger fan boy, I'm a bat fan.

  • MAN this is scary!!!!

  • I could not tell what was going on there.

  • brilliant, even though that joker is in my opinion most interesting if he hasn't got an origin story, i haveto say that if i HAVE to choose one, it would definitely be killing joke. very well done, but is there really going to be a film?

  • 0:18 Holy crap, that looks even creepier than Heath Ledger himself! And that's saying something. Like Freddy Kruger in New Nightmare, more demonic. It also reminds me of Dave McKean's Joker a lot.

  • *Krueger

  • Fuckin Great Trailer. CAptured The Joker Origin Perfectly. Top Marks On This

  • dun dun dunn The Joker Chronicles

  • Very good Job on this 5/5

I to would like to see it made into a full fan film.

  • definitely. it's my favourite comic and I will kill millions to get it on screen :P

  • i heard a lot about that on wikipedia. they said the dark knight was kinda based off that cause he was trying to corrupt someone except it was commissioner gordon...which u probably already know.

  • Wow this actully looks good, and the guy who plays joker/Jack looks an alful lot like the real one...

  • Nice

  • sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub sub4sub
  • wow that was pretty scary good job

  • nicely done! freaked me out

  • This is very good. The acting is superb. I love the connection to the Killing Joke. Great make-up and suit. I would love to see the movie sometime.

  • to anyone, ehhhh The joker has many different beginnings. None of which are ever connected. It just all depends on the writer. Even in the comics, like emif claim, The joker states if he has to have a past, he rather it be multiple choice. Anyone notice that in the dark knight movie. The movie kept true to the concept of the joker.

  • I think you guys need to chill about this. The Joker had an origin in the comics and a lot of the fans would have liked to see something about Jack, his comedy career and run in with the mob.

Also the film did subtly suggest a backstory. After all he isn't just the Devil. The Chelsey Grin suggested mob run-ins and most likely time at Arkham. I like the fan trailer. It is a little too J-Horror in style but it's a neat idea and I like it.

  • The Joker has no definitive origin in the comics. He has had plethora of supposed origins but none definitive. The Joker has said himself that if he was going to have a past he prefer it be multiple choice. His name isn't Jack, That was from Batman 89. The comedian story line is newer as well and again not definitive. The Joker doesn't need an origin he just needs to be the Joker.

  • That wasn't just from the old Batman. To quote the joker think of it as "multiple choice". He's either:

A.Jack Napier, mobster (see: Mask of the phantasm)

    B. Some poor shmuck tricked into crime for one night. (See: The Killing Joke)

    C. A criminal mastermind, the red hood.

  • Lovers and madmen...read it

  • Stop with these awful fan films about the Joker, do something original for a change...

  • i agree with loserido but it was cool

  • The Joker is the epidemy of evil, madness and chaos. he can't and shouldn't have a background, but w/e, looks like fun.
