@WilhtexHD I draw the pictures in Adobe Photoshop, then put them into Adobe After Effects in different layers which allows me to move the characters independent of the background. It's not terribly hard, but it is very time consuming.

I'm not sure what to think of this, really. Is it just stupid, or is it pointing out the fact that STO is far too violent for a Star Trek game? Or does it just happen to make that point while being stupid? (besides the fact that, from what I understand of the game (and what I know of the mechanics of the engine from playing City of Heroes), it's very inaccurate... and probably doesn't care to be accurate anyway)

@williamskidfears I personally don't mind the violence, but warfare generally isn't the point of Star Trek as a universe, so the game seems unfaithful. But I suppose if all Cryptic Studios has is a hammer...

In any case, most of the missions do seem to involve killing LOTS of things and barely any proper negotiating or exploring. And the other part of my point (the video's inaccuracy to the game, at least), just thought I'd clarify that I'm sure Admirals would be unattackable NPCs.

@williamskidfears Well, the way Cryptic Studios did City of Heroes, there's zones for each 'side' and those of the opposing side can't enter the zones of the other side, just the designated PvP zones, and they've never compromised on that. Players can switch sides, though. What I've seen of STO, though, suggests mission givers only show up in communications, anyway. Don't know if that's always the case, but it seemed the standard.
