@michael27690 its pretty obvious this guy doesn't do car reviews often and he shouldn't be doing it because he didn't even do research about the car, but I don't think you should totally blame him for mistaking that it's a 6.3 litre V8 because by the fenders it does say 6.3 and it also says that on the gauges of the tachometer. My father has a 2009 c63 amg, but this is a 2011 so don't quote me if I'm wrong, just putting that out there that mercedes benz is kinda misleading people themselves.

This particular car you're testing has 481 horsepower actually

It has the Amg Performance Package which increased the horsepower by 30

You can tell by the color of the engine that it has the package added

$ = prestige - that's what it's all about. Second,i don't see much faults in Mercedes cars,at least not much owners complaining. If 10 persons complain in a milion,is that a good car??? And about Cadillac....yes he makes limos,but i never heard that any president is rolling in Caddilac,except of President of US-patriotism or what... However,American and Euro cars cannot be compared,except in raw performance.American and European driving styles are all different.

umm apparently you can deny it cuz i did lol but i will agree that the ZR1 is not good at build quality at all lol But when it comes to the CTS-V its WAY BETTER THEN THE BENZ an i am not a caddilac man at all so thats saying something+ they may be considered in the same league but the caddy is more of a drivers car aka someone who is used to that type of power . not a regular everyday man who probably dont kno what he is doing with that much power to the wheels .

And,after that,most people would chose Mercedes even if it's not as good as Cadillac,because of its reputation- Mercedes cost lot of money,it is luxury car,every one of them- Real limo,especially for rich people is Mercedes.

Second a lot of car companys sell NEW cars based off a OLD versions good reputation when the new one isnt so great in the first place. Also Mercedes is a luxury car ill agree BUT its one with a LOT OF FAULTS an needs new product. An lastly last time i checked Cadillac made limos hmm something like Cadillac s an presidents??hmm

@kdog18ful - about the CTS that is your opinon- however, do the research- 1/4 1/2 and mile both the c63 and cts were close- mile track and solomon the c63 beat the cts everytime- proof on the paper- and the reg caddy is a reg driver, however, over a period of 50 k miles to 100 miles, GM CAN NOT compete with MB sorry bro, caddy loses again- reason is they dont make caddy's the way they used to- today the CTS will never really compare to the 63 C or E model

@stunt180tk No it's not.... it has 6.208 ccm under hood,though that engine is,from God knows which reasons,named 6.3 by AMG... I don't actually care,if i have 451hp (515 chipped) and 600 Nm of torque,i don't give a fuck about that 100 ccm ;) Beautiful car,btw...I'm going to work abroad just to get enough money for this- than i'll go one month per year to get enough money for registration and fuel :)))

@BrownMuscles me ??? Well mate,i don't know,but if you're taking my opinion...that would be...let me see- 600 NM on 451 hp,on 515 hp i'd say that torque gain would be about 30 or so NM.... But that's just my opinion,you better look it up on Google,maybe you see owners experience or smthng

@edgo45 the interior was changed EXTENSIVELY, new steering wheel, completely redesigned dash, new seats, new shifter, door panels, instrument panel. It got the new mct transmission, revised front and rear fascia, revised suspension settings in spring rates, damper rates and chamber. New steering rack, new rim options, Plus some new options etc... 2012 is a huge change for the c63

it may sound noce but its too boring ... the rear end looks like every other mercedes ... its an OK car but they coulda done better even the steering wheel looks like they stole its design from Chrysler .. just put a mercedes spin on it ...... id rather be smart an but a Cadillac Cts-V coupe than this, lastly the inside is too OLD MERCEDES ... i mean even come on u dont have Chrysler under ur arms anymore to blame for lack of money .. but even there cars are HELLA better looking than this mess.

@kdog18ful I own a 2011 model, and disagree with most of your comments. I do agree that the rear of the car is a bit bland, but it's hardly a boring car. It's way faster and more fun to drive than my old Corvette ZR-1 ever was, and the build quality is top notch. I considered the CTS-V before I bought the C, but after spending some time behind the wheel of both of them, the Benz is superior. You just can't deny German engineering.
