Heres some advice for guys. You dont need a woman. You dont need to feed their insatiable egos and their needs to compete with other woman. Reason why that the "nice guys finish last" saying sticks is because the nice guy (and I mean the NO confidence having one) will get what the jerks had leftover. In my experience and from what I've seen, no matter what kind of man you are women will eventually find something wrong with you. That's why I never get too emotionally attached to women anymore. When you open up to them they usually run away. They may complain that you're too emotionless and that you don't love them because you don't open up, but if you ask me that's the secret to a long term relationship, which is strange because you'd think the opposite would be true.
Yes I can see what you mean. I started dating this guy and as the relationship got more personal I got scared and told him I didn't want anything serious. I've been working out consistently for four years straight, and I consider myself fairly good looking. In my opinion, there are Nice Guys and there are Nice Guys. Nice Guys see a girl they like, never ask her out (pretty much behave like a friend would), then get pissed and start going on women-hating rants over the internet when she dates someone else. They claim they're "nice" when they're really crazy and bitter that they can't get a date.

Many men just haven't learned to tap into this innate masculine energy and bring it to the surface so that women can smell it. Women ideally prefer men who are manly and hard and rough-edged without being abusive. Unfortunately, as MaryAnne said, it is difficult to find guys who fit into this ideal.

I think you're right. They also hear women complain about being hit on all the time so they're confused about whether or not it's okay to approach. There are so many mixed messages nowadays regarding the role of men now so young guys are more confused than ever before. I am a good guy now, after being burned by women and learning my mistake, part of it was due to confidence issues and how women treated me. BUT! after just getting tired of it and getting rid of bad women, and working on myself (losing weight and education). @terrasweet How should I explain this. Let's compare a nice guy and a confident guy with each other. Let's pretend those aren't people, but products. The nice guy is the product that you will receive for free without doing any effort. While a girl has to do more effort to make sure the confident guy (usually an asshole/jerk, but not always) likes him. So the confident guy has more value in her eyes. Why do you think rich kids who get everything for free don't know the value of anything?

Glover's "integrated male" is just an elaborated version of the classic "shut up and take it like a man!".

What really needs to be said about the "nice guys" apparent paradox is as simple as this: "passivity is not attractive to women; if you want some pussy, don't be passive, be assertive".

In my experience and from what I've seen, no matter what kind of man you are women will eventually find something wrong with you. That's why I never get too emotionally attached to women anymore. When you open up to them they usually run away. They may complain that you're too emotionless and that you don't love them because you don't open up, but if you ask me that's the secret to a long term relationship, which is strange because you'd think the opposite would be true.

@legend956 men are the leaders of the home, they take the prayers to the father, yes the woman is there, as she was in the garden but, the man is where the woman gets her strength, this is why woman were made for men.. generally it's been this way since the beginning of time.. it's just been recently in the new ages.. that men would like a woman to take care of them..honestly..I believe it's the devil..that's just my personal opinion.

I actually, as a woman, prefer a man who works for a living, doesn't drive fancy cars, isn't totally obsessed with himself and doesn't mind walking into a restaurant wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Everyone has a difficult time not ending up with people who turn out to be cheaters, woman-beaters, etc. Even men can be beaten by women and then blamed or ridiculed for the abuse that they suffer.

I don't know if it's even a question of whether a man is good or bad. I certainly believe a man can have good and bad BEHAVIOR but to label the person and not the behavior is no one's right, since there is a measure of good and evil in all of us. Blaming the victim is just as distorted and inappropriate because it's the abuser who is choosing to behave in this way. It's only when a person ends up in an abusive situation themselves can they even begin to even understand, much less judge.

It all boils down to how good you look or don't look. Face it...guys with good looks got it made, especially in the dating game. Believe me these dudes are beating women off them with a stick, regardless of how good or how bad they are. If you're average or below average in looks you just need to work harder and that's it. Keep doing all you can to keep selling yourself as a good guy and over time, you'll start to look better to them.

Trust me a thug or bad boy won't pan ou tin the long run... Just like my ex gf they'll all come back when he leaves them with 3 or 4 kids and a screwed up body and no other guy wants them. What really needs to be said about the "nice guys" apparent paradox is as simple as this: "passivity is not attractive to women; if you want some pussy, don't be passive, be assertive".
The catch is that you have to start applying this principle before you start hating women. Otherwise it won't work.

Usain Bolit, the fastest man in the world runs 200m in 19.3 seconds. Do you know, if I went to my slob of a town, Hagerstown local runners guild or club for men, I would get denied membership if I ran the 200. in 25.87 seconds? I could use many more of these examples.
