Slim is the top male blues vocalist today......compares to the intensity of Howling wolf.........i hope he has a great career and cant wait to see what he does next
I've known Bill since we were 15 and he was in choir next to me at the Boarding school we attended... Bill came form Boston Brahmin stock.. but you'd never know it..
Google it.. The 1st families of America.. The Adams, The Cabots, The Parkmans and so on.. The supposed hereditary royalty... inherited privilege.. all of that..
I have seen Slim perform for over 7 years. Many of those early years was just Slim, his guitar, his harmonica and his voice. This is classic Watermelon Slim from getting the audience involved (clapping) to the comedy (face slap). But beneath it all is the true bluesman with the pain below the surface showing through...especially at the ending.
