LOL... the comment before yours I explained just that to someone. I just like to not have to mix the ingredients, not have to kneed it, not have to set timers, not make sure there is a warm enough location in my home for the process, etc. It's just easier for me to use the bread machine for this process. I need as many time savers as I can get with all I have to do in a day. :) Thanks for the help, though. I'm sure that will be helpful for some people who don't know the manual way.
For those of us with no bread machine, how long did the kneading process take and how long did the dough sit in the machine thereafter? That was some beautiful looking dough!! Thanks.
Thank you! Well, add all the ingredients in the same order into a bowl, mix together with your hands until everything is combined, then turn out onto the spot where you will work your dough. Allow to rest for 5 minutes, then knead for about 10 minutes. Put into a well oiled bowl, coating both sides of dough with the oil, then cover bowl with damp cloth. (Continued in next message...)
Set bowl in warm location - preheat the oven briefly and let the dough rest inside if your house is cold. After dough rises to double its size (about an hour later) and then punch it down, allow it to rise for 15 minutes. Now, it's ready to use! :)
I went out today looking for a bread machine. You're right, the thrift stores are full of them - but they were all missing the stirrer attachment! :-/
hahahahahahahahah A DOUGH MACHINE for pizza dough. Funniest thing ive seen in a while.
Just combine ingredients, kneed in rough homogenous ball. Let rise for 1 hour, kneed it a bit, let is rise another hour. Then put in fridge till use.
Thank me later.
