How do you see what you are doing?..... You have the whole screen taken up by the stuff that you don't need. Including the 'Live Lessons.' Get rid of the shit.
Yo a mashup is when you take an acapella from one song and then mix it with the instrumental of another song! If you just mix 2 beats your just blending 2 songs right? am i wrong?
This is great, can you keep making them. Anyone else out there know of more videos that deal with Ableton & Mash-ups? This is for a complete newbie...I need lots of details and step by step instructions like this dude is doing...
and by the way... you could have told us all this in 3 minutes instead of 40 minutes if youi didn't keep fannying about.. thank fuck you wern't a lecturer at my college, I'd still fucking be there
I use to apply some "channel extractor" filter, from adobe audition 2 (aka the new cooledit), you might find a demo of audition3 in adobe's website, check it out.
can someone explain how to lay down a progressive trance set of 15 tracks all beat matched just like vinyl. i just bought traktor and im spending hours trying to figure this out..thanks i spin vinyl
If you still need help with traktor, i think i can help...unless you want to use the vinyls with traktor directly...that´s a bit diferent...you need a external sound device..etc...
yo . I just got ableton and I really cant figure out how to mix in the outro with the intro...please if you have instructons....I can see how when you put one track in a and one track in b then loop the tracks, then both tracks start at the same time and that doesnt work...
To mix in 2 songs so that they build up to one another the best way is to chop them up. This is DJ style. If you chop up various aspects, say a bass/synth line, it can be brought in slowly at the start with other elements being added to it...like Madonna's "Hung Up" & ABBAs lead. Then add automation to the bass/synth line to increase volume/ resonnance etc.
