  • This sounds a little strange Sly, but I would say this. The Devil will use anything he can to his advantage and he is a liar. Some revelation may sound like God and may not be so. But continue to declare that Jesus is Lord in your life and declare that if God is for you. None other can be against you. We are seated with him in heavenly places far above every name that is named, principalities powers, etc. He is our shield our protector our refuge our high tower of defense. charlie

  • This question does not really fit your message, but I had a powerful revelation recently during prayer. The Holy Spirit told me before I got saved, I served the devil. Now that I am saved, I serve God. I realize we have to break soul ties with other people, but the Lord told me I never broke soul ties with the devil. It really blew my mind. Have you ever heard of such a thing as breaking soul ties with the devil??

  • To Alan's response video, but it didn't stick!

Like your definition of church. I am thinking of the Kingdom Now folks who think that by their little efforts of mapping, and by their prophets and apostles that they are going to usher in the Second coming, doing away with the rapture. They have cast off their Scriptural moorings and are out to sea floating on their little islands of glory .

Yes, it is not by our efforts but by His plan written from the foundation of the earth!" less

  • Greetings, Charlie,

I think when the "Blood Bought" church is removed from this earh that the apostate church that many today see as "Christianity" will continue to operate, fully staffed....at least for a short period of time. Then that glorious church will return with Christ.

    Jude 14

Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

  • Thanks Jim, I appreciate your understandings and insights. This thought comes to mind, -- We find throughout the NT epistles the references to 'you ' and 'they" written to differentiate who the apostles are addressing: The they's may, or not, be church goers in good stead. This of course also equates to the Wheat and the tares that Jesus referred to.

  • Thanks sly. Your the first to bravely comment. This is so much what I have experienced from my beginning days as a born again Christian. The people of God exploited by the institution or 'ministries' who crave power and influence over others in the body. There is surely no glory in such. charlie

  • The Glorious of Church is all God's work and not "Man." The external church, that we see on our own physicall eyes all over the world is not what God is speaking about. He was speaking of the "Invisible Church" Which is also called "The Eternal Church." These are God's people, that he has saved, before the world was created and only God knows who they are and where they are...Ephesians 1:1-12..

  • I have shared my faith with my lost friends. They want nothing to do with "religion." They see televangelists and say preachers are in the ministry for the money and greed. Some friends has been hurt by the church and as a result, left. I explain not all christians are "greedy" or hurtful, and there are some genuine people who love the Lord. They are turned off completely to listen. Any thoughts?
