graphicly resident evil is one of the best looking multiplaforms or just one of the best looking games on a console. The creator went into it to purposely show re5 as the lower class, he used more mgs gameplay, better scenes from mgs, and he created this 3 months before mgs but about a year before re5 sooooooo

from an almost neutral position i would say as far as gameplay goes MGS would have the edge... but also RE5 is filled with action more so than MGS...now before i get cursed out...MGS is better all round 10 outta 10, but RE5 also offers good physical interactions with bosses

No offense to the creator of this video, but Africa is hot as hell (i assume alot more so than MGS4's setting) and the sunlight is reflected more because its a hotter environment, plus its more open and more natural setting. I think the lighting in resident evil is better, MGS4 looks a bit rubbery, resident evil only looks polished because of the sunlight, you cant just ignore the fact that the sun is there lol.
From playing both Resident evil 5 for me, graphically they are equal or near enough. Resident evil just has alot more gameplay than cutscenes and backround than MGS4, although i liked MGS4 campaign, alot of it was spent watching cutscenes. I will remember Resident evil 5 longer than MGS4, merely because of the more gameplay and that i prefer the resident evil story and series.
that is what makes resident evil great though is the fact that there are 4 main characters... i have all 4 metal gear solids and you only play as solid snake twice in the series and a little in the begining of MGS 2... I also like the fact that resident evil always introduces some new enemies and villians. Sometime MGS will rehash some concepts and its not alwyas the best thing that they can do... I love both series but i would give it to re beacause of the differences in characters in each game

ok, resident evil 5 has better graphics which is great. but in resident evil 5 can not be so many things to like in metal gear solid 4th in resident evil can only shoot, appear, ready to explode and dodge. otherwise nothing special in metal gear it can accommodate many. correct many things. and weapons in mgs are enough weapons. in resident evil 5 are also some of the 4 part. of stricker. I agree, MGS4 is better + it has more cutscenes + they are more sofisticated + they are technically stunning! + in the gameplay, Snake moves more realistically, in RE5 Chris and Sheva move like robots :/ I have both games, MGS4 is my favourite and RE5 is my 3rd favourite(DMC4 my 2nd favourite, but you don't care about that lol) of all my next-gen games. from an almost neutral position i would say as far as gameplay goes MGS would have the edge... but also RE5 is filled with action more so than MGS...now before i get cursed out...MGS is better all round 10 outta 10, but RE5 also offers good physical interactions with bosses

you GET LOADS of WEAPONS BUT GUESS WHAT... if you shoot it... your in "ALERT MODE" well how about putting silencer on your guns or using tranquilizers and why dont u try using cqc on enemy??/ in mgs4 u have to think what u gonna do next... in re5... just shoot... mgs4 is a stealth action game when u have to avoid combat as much as possible.( yes its stealth not game like resistance or killzone)

No offense to the creator of this video, but Africa is hot as hell (i assume alot more so than MGS4's setting) and the sunlight is reflected more because its a hotter environment, plus its more open and more natural setting. I think the lighting in resident evil is better, MGS4 looks a bit rubbery, resident evil only looks polished because of the sunlight, you cant just ignore the fact that the sun is there lol.

From playing both Resident evil 5 for me, graphically they are equal or near enough. Resident evil just has alot more gameplay than cutscenes and backround than MGS4, although i liked MGS4 campaign, alot of it was spent watching cutscenes. I will remember Resident evil 5 longer than MGS4, merely because of the more gameplay and that i prefer the resident evil story and series.

that is what makes resident evil great though is the fact that there are 4 main characters... i have all 4 metal gear solids and you only play as solid snake twice in the series and a little in the begining of MGS 2... I also like the fact that resident evil always introduces some new enemies and villians. Sometime MGS will rehash some concepts and its not alwyas the best thing that they can do... I love both series but i would give it to re beacause of the differences in characters in each game
