Any child that may strike it's parent, regardless of what the parent may be doing, is ordered to be killed. Any slave can be beaten and killed, and no restrictions to that was made for children slaves. I would not call killing children to be taking care of them.

@sweetdietqueen well heres another though question.. Tom lives in another country then America. He never hears about christ when he was young, not one bit, not a whisper. As 10 he gets sent to prison ( children can g o to prison in some countries) and can go nowhere and not hear about God or Jesus. He was nice all his life and helped others. but knew of no God. as 18 he died in prison.

1. If you only do good deeds out of fear of him and not cause you know whats right and wrong your not truly a good person.
2. You cant possibly know that he exist, but you can still regret things you have done, and i think God notices that. i think you will be forgiven simply cause you regret and not faith.

@sweetdietqueen i think the idea of hell is most likely made and and most likely so they could scare people into christianity. and makeing people do things cause they are afraid is not a good thing. one of the qonsecuences of being afraid of hell is when people start to follow the bible literally instead of thinking for themselfs or God for yourself if you are right even though i cant say for sure since i havent felt any contact with him.

Killing kids.....the church, Christians, individual and as a group ARE THE ONLY
ones in the world who care a thing any more about things like virginity, chastity, purity,, faithfulness. These words are almost a joke any more. KILLING KIDS: kIds need to know they are not just a dollar in the offering plate, that the members do not resent giving them a ride to church when they do n ot have money to pay them, their parents are not church goers. It hurts a young girl , boy to know they are re. as inferior due to their earthly family's social status. It hurts when confflicts arise and the church takes the side of the people outside the church without asking their side of things for the same reason. UNCHRISTIAN.
Jesus Christ was not put on the cross and tickled with a feather, he died for these things we Christians go to church and put on a show that we believe but want no discomfort over. We must fight for these principles. When someone has the guts to say to the world I have sinned period. It is over. Get on with life. God does not remember their sin. People need encouragmeent, Christian do, rewards for being moral, kids need incentives, rewards for being different, saying no.
Compliance means forgiveness and going on. Church has no right to expect public schools to teach Christianity, christian ethics, morals, public libraries to be stocked with Christian books, public theaters to have Christian movies for the kides, to do the churches job. The church must have these things for the kids. They must teach forgiving, getting up and going on, learning from mistakes.

I was not a m ember of any church, was introduced to a man who came to my home, did not know he was married. I was involved with him, not a one night stand. Although I was five min from divorc,e non church member, i was ostracized from church permanently. No one cared what I was going through at the time, almost every major crisis known to man for me and my kids. No one cared, but they did care enough to condemn me. It is almost like different denominations have pet sins. Pick the one which tolerates what you want to do. Some think it is worse to curse than almost anything and will tolerate adultery. Some think having sex with someone you are not m arried to is ok if a man commits adultery, the wife was not paying the rent, or putting out or something. that is a lie. Liars lie. cursers curse. adulters commit adultery from their own lust. We all sin from our own lust, male or female.
The church is being destroyed from the inside out, but not over the bizarre things you discuss. You are avoiding the real issues. They worship the tithe, the building and neglect teaching to respect others, yourself, obey the law of the land. Sex, kids engaging in sex and drugs, destroys the church and themselves. Teach, teach. Teach what is acceptable sexual behavior in people. Stand up for what you teach. If a husband is cheating on his wife, she has a right to know, etc.

I would like to see churches have clear cut policies on spousal abuse and
teach what is abuse and what is acceptable as behavior toward spouses. This means ...church people, pastors, deacons, teachers have to get their heads out of the sand, listen study, learn to OPEN their mouths and speak and answer. Its interesting question, however consider this, if my Grandfather had killed his 4 children so they could go to heaven then actually rather than saving 4 of his children he would actually have lost 8 saved children, since each of their children had 2 children who have since followed Christ. So, although a good question, it does fall on this ground. Plus through these 4 children and 8 grandchildren numerous others have since been saved so by killing 4 he would have caused the loss of many.

If God is absolute (which many people have told me), then morality doesn't exist because then we would be subject to God's whims. Either way, the idea that absolute morality comes from God is absurd. This explains why atheists are not committing murders, stealing, upstaging governments, and persecuting those who don't agree and theists are.

Any child that may strike it's parent, regardless of what the parent may be doing, is ordered to be killed. All are born with Sin, to say children are without sin is wrong, just because God will save those that do not know or understand sin does not mean they are without it, quit trying to paint a different picture, children are born with sin.
Second Point
God does not torture children. You have no basis for this, just because God will show mercy (allow into heaven) those to young to understand him (have no understanding of sin or God) is not torture, I am not sure why you say that.

As 10 he gets sent to prison ( children can g o to prison in some countries) and can go nowhere and not hear about God or Jesus. Satan takes note, the world takes notes of any chinks in the armor of the Church.
They say hmmm those kids are the ones I need to go after. I am not saying anything the church and world does not know. It takes compliance, want to.willingness of members to overcome these. The pastor, deacons must keep at them. Some will leave the faith like you,ant and rave like you do about things not real issues just nitpicking bizarreness .

KILLING KIDS: kIds need to know they are not just a dollar in the offering plate, that the members do not resent giving them a ride to church when they do n ot have money to pay them, their parents are not church goers. It hurts a young girl , boy to know they are re. as inferior due to their earthly family's social status. It hurts when confflicts arise and the church takes the side of the people outside the church without asking their side of things for the same reason. UNCHRISTIAN.

Jesus Christ was not put on the cross and tickled with a feather, he died for these things we Christians go to church and put on a show that we believe but want no discomfort over. We must fight for these principles. When someone has the guts to say to the world I have sinned period. It is over. Get on with life. God does not remember their sin. People need encouragmeent, Christian do, rewards for being moral, kids need incentives, rewards for being different, saying no.

Compliance means forgiveness and going on. Church has no right to expect public schools to teach Christianity, christian ethics, morals, public libraries to be stocked with Christian books, public theaters to have Christian movies for the kides, to do the churches job. The church must have these things for the kids. They must teach forgiving, getting up and going on, learning from mistakes.

Oh. Almost forget while I am venting on issues in the church which is composed of individual people with problems. The church, each church, should have clear cut beliefs and practices which they make clear so the members or prospective members can find another if they do not agree. Homosexuality is not a sex act. It is preference for intimacy with the same gender. Homosexuals do not own AIDS HIV. aS LONG as tghe church thinks AIDS is a gay disease,
women, children will suffer.

I have no prejudice against the mentally ill. All of us have been that way to some degree or another or one time or another. Obey the law and respect others boundaries and rights. Thank you. I feel better Azsuperman. I spoke about my issues with the church which are realistic. Yours are something unusual. I never encountered that. I was Baptist, still believe Baptist, local visible, not universal. I obey the law.
I don't like to hurt people or cause trouble, but I have always spoke up.

When I said I did not know we were divorcing, I mean it came as a big surprise.
I thought we had plans. We were in the process of divorcing, five min away from appearing in court to finalize when I was introduced to the guy. I wanted to get on with my normal hetero life and remarry within a year. Marriage is a normal state, heterosexual that I am, I wanted to be married, remarry, have a new life. It never happened,. I was ruined. My husband remarried twice. I was not that ugly then.

DIVORCE is a big church issue.. Why? Unclear expectations, values.
Lack of committment. Again, a double standard. The woman is expected to put up with almost anything to save a marriage,the man is excused for almost anything. This is NOT Christian at all. Why not gripe these things. A woman is not to work, no education, then he leaves, she is too old to do anythinf, gets called a nut case,stuck on disability.
Who wants to marry a nut case. Almost church doctrine to do this. Address this.

double standards all churches...men/women. How many women would be excused for cheating on their husbands if he got a belly, lost his hair, slopped around the house, cursed, lost his youthful looks. If women could cheat on their husbands for that, there would be no faithful women. Double standards, kill and confuse the young people spiritually..
Premarital counselling would be good, ask them point blank questions. Clarify, restate,might offend someone, & prevent a lot of divorce..

I sinned. I killed no one. I hurt my children, yes. However, the churches attitude toward me before this happened, and their attitude after, hurt my children worse.
I made a mistake. I was not a church member was trying to find a church. I had no job and no money. I went to several churches. I was neat, clean, behaved and was not living an immoral life and did not know we were divorcing and had not had an affair. This is the point....DOUBLE STANDARDS for men and women. Not right.

I was ostracized for a long time, lost my home, career and never was able to date or marry. The attitude toward sex is barbaric. I believe in being faithful to your husband and being responsible for your behavior. I believe churches should help unmarried people who want to marry to be able to meet people , safely. I sinned, of my own lust. I made a mistake. It was never repeated. I would never never hurt a married woman. These things destroy the church. Straining at gnats, vengeance..

I was not a m ember of any church, was introduced to a man who came to my home, did not know he was married. I was involved with him, not a one night stand. Although I was five min from divorc,e non church member, i was ostracized from church permanently. No one cared what I was going through at the time, almost every major crisis known to man for me and my kids. No one cared, but they did care enough to condemn me. I wanted to go to Christian singles but they would not let me. .

It is almost like different denominations have pet sins. Pick the one which tolerates what you want to do. Some think it is worse to curse than almost anything and will tolerate adultery. Some think having sex with someone you are not m arried to is ok if a man commits adultery, the wife was not paying the rent, or putting out or something. that is a lie. Liars lie. cursers curse. adulters commit adultery from their own lust. We all sin from our own lust, male or female.

The church is being destroyed from the inside out, but not over the bizarre things you discuss. You are avoiding the real issues. They worship the tithe, the building and neglect teaching to respect others, yourself, obey the law of the land. Sex, kids engaging in sex and drugs, destroys the church and themselves. Teach, teach. Teach what is acceptable sexual behavior in people. Stand up for what you teach. If a husband is cheating on his wife, she has a right to know, etc.

Issues within the church..individual churches..should be handled in such a way as to not harm the entire Christian community. Some churches seem to think reading a romance without pornographic photos is the same as reading Playboy. I do not want to attend a church which allows members to read magazines which exploit young women, or men, sexually. I condemn no one. I would like to see churches have clear cut policies on spousal abuse and
teach what is abuse and what is acceptable as behavior toward spouses. This means ...church people, pastors, deacons, teachers have to get their heads out of the sand, listen study, learn to OPEN their mouths and speak and answer. It may mean they have to straighten out their own lives. These are the issues in the church, living out the teachings of Christ. There would be no murder or child abuse, etc.

Becoming a Christian does not mean you know all about being a good parent, a good husband or wife. It does not mean you have a degree in being a model citizen. It means you want to follow biblical teaching. The church needs to teach, exhort, rebuke in a Christian manner. I would like to see churches teach classes on parenting, and being good husbands and wives. I would like to see marriage uplifted, married couples encouraged to be faithful.

I would like to go to a church which has a clear cut stand against illegal drug use. This is a crime. Criminals should be excluded until they correct and apologize. I would like to go to a church which does not allow married people to have affairs. Ask them. Exclude until they apologize or quit. They can still come to church . These are the issues.

For instance: I do not think it is ok to have sex outside marriage and would like to go to a church which does not believe that is oki. Things which destroy people, Christian people and others are things like saying they had an abortion when they lost a wanted baby. They do some pretty ignorant things to kids, I agree, parents do, and others.
However there is no Christian Church or teaching which says to murder your kids. Child abuse is every where, it knows no boundaries. Sometimes people are abusive as can be thinking they are doing ok, misguided people. It is people, not of God, not of the Bible.

My Bible, and I, say to obey the law of the Land. So did my church. The only exception would be if they told us we could not worship God. The way we worshipped God did not conflict wiht the law of the land. I, & the church I went to, did not believe in abortion, active or passive euthanasia or assisted suicide, certainly not murdering of children or anyone else.. We, I, do believe it is ok to fight to the death to defend yourself if attacked. We served in the armed forces.

You do not rightly divide the Bible. There are people who are crazy every where, people with criminal tendencies. Just because someone goes to church does not mean they understand the Bible, or that they are necessarily Christian. I, myself, went to church. I believe the doctrine of the church wholeheartedly, but I had a problem with a few people in the church which ruined it for me. I left it.
They did not go by the doctrine. My Bible ,church, did not say it was o.k. to murder.

To kill is a sin. Even if the children will go to Heaven, it is still worse to sin against God by killing the children than letting them live and risk going to Hell when they grow up. There are God-given, biblical, thorough ways which we shall follow if we want to hinder the children from going to Hell. E g Eph 6:4, Deut 6:6-7, Prov 19:18, 22:6, 23:13-14

I think about stuff like this a lot. I was born into a christian family and started questioning my faith when I was about 15. Now I'm an Atheist so I'm hell bent but if I died as a kid or was aborted I would be in heaven. lol How do Christians sleep at night?

@Wes561 Not all christians think children automatically get into heaven. Catholics for example think if the babies not baptized they go to hell, well purgatory, but it's basically the highest level of hell.
How do they sleep? I don't know, when you're not bothered by things like slavery, child abuse, rape, genocide or infanticide not much is going to disturb your sleep, or so I'd imagine.

While I don't want to comment on the age of accountability, the notion that aborted babies will go straight to heaven is false; I don't know that they do. I hope God would have mercy on them since their position is not their fault, but on the other hand, if they die unborn they are unbaptized and thus still have original sin on their souls. So it would be better to at least let them be born and baptized before you kill them...JKJK, don't kill them.

azsuperman01, you keep talking about how there is no forgiveness of sin. ummmm... if my memory serves correctly, that's why Jesus died for our sins, so that we wouldn't have to suffer in hell for eternity. In other words all sin is forgiven if we accept Jesus Christ in our hearts and let Him rule our lives. Trying to disprove Christianity is pointless, and to me, pretty comical. @real012 If someone truly believes in the age-of-accountability, then killing their children is the most selfless act they could possibly commit. They would risk their soul in order to GUARANTEE that their children spend eternity in Heaven with God.
I don't want you or anyone else to kill your kids. I don't think Heaven or Hell exist, and I would not want to prevent anyone from living the only life we know they have because your religion literally says they would be better off dying young.

Its interesting question, however consider this, if my Grandfather had killed his 4 children so they could go to heaven then actually rather than saving 4 of his children he would actually have lost 8 saved children, since each of their children had 2 children who have since followed Christ. So, although a good question, it does fall on this ground. Plus through these 4 children and 8 grandchildren numerous others have since been saved so by killing 4 he would have caused the loss of many.
