  • lol needs moar highway 61

  • Really good. I love this kind of laid back garage rock. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands from the 60s that didn´t "broke through". It´s a fantastic musical treasure. Listen for example (on youtube) to The Music Machine (Talk, talk), The Golliwogs (Tell me) and of course a band from Scandinavia called THE ZETTLERS. Check up their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Awesome!!!!!And.....with a bloody driving beat.

  • LET'S START THE SECOND PSYCHEDELIC ERA

  • Great song , very Dylan sounding . Wonder who wrote the song .

  • I played this one and some of their others on KDOK 1490! Good to hear it again!

  • the sixties should last forever. best music comin' out almost every day for a great time. There will never be another Summer of Love!

  • Great stuff Shingaling. Do you have Cryin' Inside? Keep up the awesome work. Cheers

  • Get Off My Cloud + Like A Rolling Stone

  • @Doki66 You're so right...

  • Great !!!!!! All those forgotten band tht deserved more attenion

  • this band sounds a lot like bob dylan

  • @5starvideos alot of rumors were going around that this was dylan's new band back in the day.

  • Who wrote this? Welder . . . vault . . . The only welder reference in rock history. Priceless!

  • A lot of the music from this time had a similar sound.

Mouse doesn't deny that he was influenced by Dylan.

a lot of us were. it was the sixties and brain surgeon rock had not been invented yet.

Ronnie (Mouse) Weiss is still in demand as one of the finest musicians in East TX, He is a fine player and a class act. and a good friend.

  • Amazing song!!!

  • GO Nardo!

  • I have this 45 somewhere in the house

  • Was this before or after 'Like A Rolling Stone'.

  • @bigdunk9 as cool as it would've been for it to come before... it was the following year. :-/

  • @bigdunk9 after ofc;) it sure is a great ripoff

  • Did Elecktra sign these?

  • @thingthing94 Quite sure Elektra didn't get involved....

  • @shingalingthing on the Nuggets CD it says that these were signed by Elektra I think.

  • Thanks for feedback and comments folks......

  • These guys are still rocking. See: watch?v=E2KaspjLgZ4&feature=sub

  • Love it

  • Nardo Murray, the drummer, could be the best jazz/punk/rock drummer out there

  • oh nice dylan--i mean--mouse and the traps song...

  • OMG! This really brings back memories, from the 'Sumpin' Else' live TV show at Northpark Mall in Dallas. Mouse was a big hit in Dallas! Thanks for posting this!

  • Knox Henderson, who wrote the tune, had had a fight with his wife the night before. Everybody was trying to get a hit, up to and including mimicking Dylan, thus the vocal style, which wasn't really Bugs style. The tune was a 'hit' in two towns - Tyler, where I went to HS with them and Louisville, KY, where I live now. Knox taught me that songs were written by ordinary people and not by geniuses.

  • the house band at Robinhood Bryan's studio in Tyler, where ZZ Top recorded La Grange in '73.

Bugs H. is one of the best rock/blues guitarists ever, imo.

  • Nice one , often touted as the "lost" Dylan track.

  • :-) Yep...one of the very first tunes I dug on the old Nuggets series...the single wasn't cheap though...60's garage rock has gone through the roof pricewise

  • One of my faves of all time

been playing this for the last few months

    none stop

    Great choice
