zero gravity do not exist, also in space where the gravity is "micro gravity".

the gravity force is F=-(m.M.G)/R²

m is the mass of your toy

M the mass of earth

G gravity constant 6,6742×10E-11 N·m2·kg-2

and R the distance between the earth center and you toy.

so the gravity force is always there. you just have a magnetic force caused by your magnet that is egal to -F. magnetic force in not gravity force. si your toy still have the gravity of earth.

so that means with your theory that one of the mass (earth or spinning) is Zero or the distance is infinity.

Hey guys,I know how Mr.Timury did his trick. Being the Y2K,this is instinct for me. HeSimply used a strong magnet base, it could have been either North Pole or South Pole, but whichever he used,the axle that was spining atop of it was the Same.causing a repulsion force against each other.He is probabley using a hidden powersource,that's why you saw when the flying axle landed, the base was off,so it couldn't repel.The axle floats because of the centripetal force pulling it outward. :)

With just the knowledge from school on magnets and this video I will estimate.

1. It levitates because the bottom is a magnet with great force.

2. It has possibly a weak possitive ring bringing it closer and a stonger negative forcing it to repel, but not away from the magnet.

3. (against #2) It repells, but because it is spinning it will repell against all sides and continue spinning until the magnetic field dies. Unlimited force. Without friction, it will spin until the force dies.

Its not zero gravity. Newtons law explains that there is opposite force that made it float. That force is magnetism in reverse polarity made symmetrically balanced because of the centrifugal force exerted by the wheel to the magnetic flux of the base magnet.

Good question. Yes, it would eventually slow down because it's not possible to create a perfect vacuum (space is not even a perfect vacuum) and the remaining air molecules would create friction. It would run for a considerably longer period of time in a good vacuum - days, maybe even weeks. However, if you tried to hook it up to a dynamo (even inside the vacuum) it would slow quicker due to friction between the moving parts.
