Impressive... I fly LH all the time between Detroit and Shanghai... So many other Airlines are far behind.. .Delta is catching up with their Business Class on the 777 (Only a couple with the new seats... If Air New Zealand had a flight from the US to Asia... I would be all over that..

Without a doubt the best damn airline in the world, the first class lounge at Auckland airport was second to none, infact the washrooms in that airport were even better the the AA first class lounge in Houston. The service was fantastic and the first class reclining seat cubicles were amazing!

I read somewhere NZ is looking into a price you can pay to reserve the third seat which is at a certain cost but not as expensive as another passenger purchasing the seat. Also only 11 rows (???) will be configured this way.

they use A320s or larger if you go from auckland.

they use A320'S to Oz mostly out of all international ports and sometimes 767's out of AKL but 737's are on domestic main centre flights only, they are being replaced with A310's in the next couple of years...
