Fake. The only reason why bats can navigate by using sound instead of vision is due to the fact they can produce (and recieve) ultrasonic soundwaves. Normal soundwaves like the ones produced through this tongue-clicking simply cant do the job. And the "all your other senses improve dramatically if you loose your vision" thing isn't much more than an urban legend,they DO improve quite a bit,but THIS is impossible for a human,except in marvel comics. Ultrasonic waves (very high pitch) bounce and reflect better than sound we can hear. The lower the pitch, the more the sound 'bends' around edges, and the more distorted the echo.

However, to say that it's impossible to echolocate simply because the frequencies are lower is incorrect. His echolocation is simply 'fuzzier' and less precise than a bat's. A bat can detect an insect; this boy can detect a chair. I'd say that about fits the physics properly
