The hardest part about the whole procedure is to figure out the correct settings for P2K commander!

For mine: P2k Commander V5.1.0

Mode: P2K/P2k05

P2k Tuning:

New (Fast)

Manual Settings: (Only checked options listed here)

Use this filename filter: /*

COM Port: COM5 (This you'll have to figure out for yourself)

Use P2k commands

Note: If I were you, I'd back up any files prior to deleting them!

I got a trojan from clicking on that link to download P2K commander. I got the trojan taken off my computer but I advise anyone else from going there. If I search for it on google my norton security flags it as an unsafe website saying it has 4 threats 1 of them being a trojan. Unfortunately I cant find any other website to download P2K commander from, they all redirect to the same link.

1)My options part of P2K Commander looked completely different so I could not check the two boxes because they did not exist.

2)I couldnt create a folder my_ringers, HOWEVER I found the location for the ringtones at p2k:/a/motorola/shared/audio. Also, my wallpapers are here: p2k:/a/Motorola/shared/picture­s

3)Finally, P2K would only access my phone if I had the program Motorola Software Update running (i don't remember where i downloaded that, but anyone can google it)

the .db files do come back but that's fine. the ring tone should still be on the phone and if u want to add more just do it again and delete the .db files and they will come back.

What is this koodo? I already figured out how to hack it with p2k commander. If I found this video sooner I would have had an easier time. Also do you know if anyone has successfully got new apps on there phones with this process?

Yes it is koodo. And it would have helped me a lot more too if there was a video. If you look you'll see this this is the only video and it isn't even very good anyway, sorry. No i haven't heard of any app hacking but i did learn (maybe you did too) how to change the external display and the start up/down screens. I will put it all in one video once i get some time :)
