It's more a sound tech problem than instumentation. You can't mix P-Funk like C&W...Also their tempos are a little slower than in earlier years. But still it's the stage/recording mix.

I love P-funk as much as anyone but IMO it's pointless playing this song without Bernie. This just sounds like a mess to me.
