  • i happen to have a copy of this version of the show on dvd... i found it on ioffer.com in case you were wondering

  • This is total nostalgia for me. I remember watching this, looking out the window on a summer day, young and nothing to worry about.

  • There was also bumpers they used from the crew on the show durning saturday mornings. I think they were "Be right back" type of bumpers. Does anyone know how i can get these? They use to be on youtube but i can not locate them anymore.

  • Damn, Jeeps go through everything don't they? Haha

  • better dinosaurs, but kind of sucks compared to the original

  • That cavegirl should have some muscles too.

  • Brought me back to my childhood.

  • O_O!!!!!! Nostalgiaaaaaaaaaaa. I knew this show existed, i knew I wasn't crazy O_O *stops taking medication*

  • older one is good

  • this brings back so many memories thanks for the upload!

  • Oh my gosh! I totally forgot about this show!

  • My goodness... This brings me back! Remember how annoying that little girl was? TAAWWWW-sha TAAWWWWW-sha. lol!

I think Stink is the adolescent Jack Link Beef Jerky Sasquatch.

  • Man time flies, I remember it like yesterday watching this and other shows on a saturday with a big bowl of cereal. Anybody remember Ralph the mouse?

  • Unfortunately, not nearly as good as the original 70's Land of the Lost. However, it is infinitely better than the 2009 travesty of a movie.

  • @SexedUpAtheist Hey, this version wasn't as cheesey as the orginal, and the family was way more realistic than the trio in the orginal.

  • @Markel1970A Once you get past the cheap effects, you can see that the story lines in the original were well-written, and more cohesive. Hell, they even hired a linguist to create the Pakuni language (yes,it's a real language), and the family interaction was dynamic, as well as their interaction with the other beings in the LotL.

In all ways, the 70's version is by far the superior of the two.

  • @SexedUpAtheist But the actors were all about the same age.

  • @Markel1970A I have no idea what you intend by this comment: please clarify.

  • @SexedUpAtheist I'm not sure either. LOL

  • Haha me and my twin sister loved watching this show as kids and we are now 20 years old :D Waking up on Saturday mornings and watching cartoons and all. Especially this show! :) Ah the good ol days lol

  • I had the biggest crush on Robert Gavin ("Kevin") back then-- this show was like porn to me! lol.

That, and it shocked me to find out that Tim Bottoms ("Tom") was the same guy who played George W in "That's My Bush"... another show that I LOVED!!

  • The spongebob generation of kids have no idea what they're missing.

  • So many fond memories of this show. I'd watch it every Saturday. I always hated Tasha, though.

  • So many fond memories of this show. I'd watch it every Saturday. I always hated Tasha, though.

  • uh excuse you, mighty max was not ''spoon fed crap''.tekno man was not and is not ''spoon fed crap''. bert and ernier on sesame street before they were seperated by a wall because it was ''too gay'' was not ''spoon fed crap''. they are the quintssential stuff of childhood dreams.we really woudnt expect you to know this not being born at the 90's and at the same time being from the generation that fed us and especially the children born in the 2000's spoon fed crap' in ''school'' and in politics-

  • @darkrider852 lol Please... PLEASE grow up. You're apparently older than I and yet you have no respect for what other people have nostalgic feelings for and completely no acknowledgment of your own nostalgic bias. Everybody think the stuff they grew up with was awesome, even though there were always flaws. There was always something to love in it. And still is -- you're just not a child anymore.

  • Aw snap, faving so hard. Always loved this theme

  • They acted like it was a fantasy world where ANYTHING could happen, but usually it was just seeing some damn dinosaurs.

    GOT OLD FAST. >:U

  • YES! I've had this scene embedded in my mind since I could talk. I completely forgot what it was from, then I found this! Epic.

  • I remember watching this show while eating Golden Grams

  • I remember getting up early on Saturday mornings to watch the ORIGINAL Land of the Lost.....sheeeeeeeit.....I'm old. Anyhow...all you young ones that are saying you are old cause you saw the "new" series as a kid...trust me....you are not old "I" am. Plus...the theme song for this series sucked big fat hairy donkey dong in comparison to the originals theme. Just saying. :P

  • @DementedCaver *hits him on head with stick*..noo.

  • I used to watch this as a kid :) at 24 I feel so old lol

  • Thumbs up if you don't give a fuck about Marshall, Will and Holly, and wanna see more of Christa!

  • and don't forget Annie chillpenguin666! just cause i used to have a crush on her as a kid!

  • @chillpenguin666 yeah!!! burn the old one like hell!!

  • This is one of the shows I grew up on.

  • This was the one I watched. I kept wondering how I could never find it until now.

  • I Wish I Had A Time Machine So I Can Travel Back In Time and Relive Every Single 90's Show and Cartoons All Over Again.

  • @DimeraFan28 Me too dude, his time I would bring some weed :-)

  • Anyone remember the ads for the land of the lost toys?

    "he's hit the alarm"

    "climb up dad"

    'andddd out!"

    "we're safe! for now...."

  • WOOOOOOOOW i forgot about this

  • half the song is catchy and the other half is annoying... thats um amazing haha lol.

  • This was my show when I was growing up in the 90's. The memories haha

  • The original 70's show was better.

  • HAHA this was my show! Me and my friends had the biggest crush on the brother. :)

  • This show sucked about as bad as the movie did. The original from the 70s still is the best. The original had good sci-fi stories and I think the effects from the 70s version are still ok. An asian guy did all the miniatures for the the 70s version and he put a lot of detail into it. I think it still looks good.

  • wish i can go back to 95's and tell my child self to get some real friends and have fun and dont waste time with people that will back sta you after 10 years

  • I wish I could this show on the net

  • The audio sounds like shit

  • I wish there was a way to watch these shows again :(

  • @cy916 ur absolutely right, i was just thinking the same thing as i watched a top 10 90s cartoons vid.....im just glad we werent subjected to the original british version.....i just watched it and am SO GLAD im not a brit

  • I didn't like this show when I was little------it didn't hold my attention------but I remember the theme :-)

  • I loved this so much. But I remember wanting to take a bat to that monkey things head...still do. Don't know why

  • It's weird. 90's film sucked shit... But 90's Television kicked ASS!!!

  • @VenomShock What about.... Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Saving Private Ryan etc. ?

  • This show was one of my faaaaaaavorites as little kid. It genuinely immersed me.

  • the only thing cool about the 90's remake was the fact that the Sleestaks could actually move and fight better than their 70's counter parts

  • you can barely hear the song, there is so much roaring. one of the noisiest theme songs.

  • Remember watching this as a child, waking up on Saturday mornings at what I would now consider an unholy hour, and running straight to the TV to tune in this show. Must be 20 odd years ago... those were the days <3

  • @hollowman9514 Me too

  • @hollowman9514

You just described my television childhood precisely!

  • @hollowman9514

    Gotta agree with that.

My internal clock still does that to me every Sat. wether I'm willing or not.

  • I remember watching this show as a kid when Nick ran re-runs and indeed it was pretty dull, but I loved the theme. Still do.

  • my boss looks like STINK the monkey guy! lol! gosh how i miss the good ol days.

  • I miss this show. I only remember little bits of it, but I still remember liking this intro:D

  • Yes. This.

  • I didn't know there was on from the 70s till a few years ago I grew up with this one

  • i heard the original tv series was really good. I remember watching this version as a kid....it was ok. but the movie looked like shit

  • @Djsimonroc88 I used to watch it in the 70s!! I didn't even know they did a new one in the 90s!!

  • fuck i remember watching this as a kid this show has been in the back of my head for a couple years always wondering what it was called finally i looked it up

  • You cited "You're judging a middle-aged person's take on culture to a 12 year old's." When you were a boy watching Land of the Lost in 1991, I was in my early 20s buddy, not middle age. And yes, there was more tolerance with race then (in the 70s/80s) than today ... I know it is hard for you to fathom that, but its true.

  • As bad as this show was, the 21st century film was THE MOST PATHETIC MOVIE EVER MADE.

  • @UltraGokin Amen Gen-X brother ...

  • @UltraGokin The 90s was the beginning of the end ... All down hill.

  • i loved this show! i vividly remember the cyborg!

  • @UltraGokin did you seriously reply to a comment I made over a 1 year ago. I've moved on you should to.

  • @UltraGokin The current kids (the 12-16 or so year olds) will grow out of Justin Bieber, etc. And they will find and create new things. And maybe you won't like it, but so what? Did your grandparents really like The Beatles when they first came out? People have always thought the world was going to shit, but I really don't think it is. So relax. Try to see what the world today has to offer.

  • - and all their awful teaching methods that increase anyones intelligence to the level of a disabled person and thats IT. your generation is what fills ''school'' halls full of stuttering cofee abusing free mason psychos who are as about fit to teach as a violent pack of chimpanzees can possibly be. not only that..but your generation who form the wizened money hungry ceo's of companys are behind the vile slew of ''cartoons'' as seen today. fairly odd parents and the rest of the garbage -

  • @darkrider852 By the way, have you ever personally taught in an urban school where 90 percent of the kids are below the poverty line, 50 percent have english as a second language and 25 percent qualify as special ed? Because I have. That's representative of quite a lot of american public schools and it's a part of the vicious cycle of poverty. Calling teachers names is easy when you're not doing anything to solve the problem yourself.

  • @stephantom ''getting a rise out of people'' btw old guy, has nothing to do with this. im merely revealing your generations oldest and worst habit that made and allowed poverty to exist today; not facing up to your mistakes.

  • @darkrider852 Old guys? lol There seems to have been a misunderstanding. Since you responded to ME in the first place, I assumed you'd read my comments and knew what I was saying. But actually you've somehow gotten the idea that I am from an older generation and have been maligning the current young generation. Actually I am 23 years old and I was here commenting about a year ago to tell people to stop saying the world is going to end because of "kids these days" etc.

  • @stephantom

    ''misunderstanding''? ''lol'' hawhawhaw.

theres no misunderstanding, as you have no proof you are who you say. unlike you, theres lots of others who dont go through their lives assuming things the way you do. but you tryed to show someone up for the wrong reasons like now, and theres going to be someone to do the exact thing to you but not for the wrong reasons. the world may not be ending. but there things that have been going on for a long time now around us -

  • - around us, you have no idea about. telling people to a lesser extent like you did; ''nothing can happen but what we see'' is the same as saying ''lets cover our eyes and ignore the obvious that all the planets we live on are floating in bottomless 0g''. but of course, your the one with incredible 'teaching' methods who said '' nothing can happen '', when what we need to keeping our eyes peeled just in case, but why would someone like you say anything different - if you did say that.

  • - of the garbage those ''better'' people from your generation keep cranking out that a prison cop woudnt reccomend for prisoners to watch. no show from the 90's ever litterally hurt your eyes and brain when you watch it like 3d ''cartoon'' shows on cartoon network do. no mary tyler whateverthehellitwascalled soap opera show was ever spawned like it was from your generation. it not very graceful to be angry because you came from a technological and spiritual dark age that was just coming out -

  • @darkrider852 I never said anyone was better than anyone else. You need to calm down. If a kid's show is "literally" hurting your eyes, maybe you should see a doctor -- I don't think that's normal.

I can't tell if you're being serious or if you're just a troll putting on a show and trying to get a rise out of people/me. If you are, whatever. If not, um, relax? Culture changes... I'm sorry it bothers you so much, but the generations after you are no more evil than the ones before.

  • - because they were from your generation. but we'll leave out the part where the last 20 years of our lives were wasted in an inhumane and absolutley boring room. with boiled cold cow tongue tacos with cream cheese for lunch. that not one ''adult''(haa!) ever raised a hair over. because your generation is better. the point is that stuff from your generation is definitley not better than things in the 90's were.

  • sorry if your spewing dust btw, but ''justin bieber'' will never hold a candle to tekno man. or land of the lost. god thats like, so obvious. you must be getting old or something.. we have physical immortality now btw. another something that came from the 90's...

  • - technological, spiritual, and racial dark age that was just coming to and end in the 90's including vietnams war that was pushed forward by five guys who had all the charm and mercy of adolf hittler. you can be sure ill be dancing on your generations grave long after your gone because if the world had to sum up and be apart of your world back in your ''better generation'' from back then in 3 words, it would be death, doom, and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

  • @stephantom ive been ''taught'' in an urban school by more than a dozen people like you. thats all i have to say. its the same punchline like after saying 'someone has aids' in a joke. i was taught in an urban school by a more than a dozen people like you. we have your ''better generation'' to thank for that. also, we have your generation to thank for poverty and for the frog neck cigar chomping 'politicians'' in the oval office who have caused it all these years because, heh, their not -

  • i dont care what you said previously, if you even did. what i responded to was the fact that you said kids in the 90's have been fed from a spoon of stupid or something along those lines details aside, and all the stuff after about urban schools and such. thats what this is currently about. and if you ARE in fact 23 as you say, then the way your bashing your own people who are the result of the previous generation and how those people chose to deal with it, thats just as bad.

  • @darkrider852 You've confused me with the person I was responding to. The "spoon fed crap" comment was UltraGoth, not me, and I originally commented to disagree with that comment, in fact. Way to read.

A lot of urban schools are bad. When I said that, I wasn't "bashing my people." I was explaining that teachers, young and old, are trying to help in a really tough situation. Some young teachers suck, some are good. Some old teachers suck, and some old teachers are good. Reality isn't simple.

  • @stephantom

no ones confused anyone with anything. unless your you.

most ''teachers'' suck. they arent fit to teach because 1 they'r either unpaid jittering physically shot failed adults who are about to lose their house or 2 their ignorant unqualified illiterate NUT JOBS who arent fit to teach much less know about children. the problem starts with adults like these and CONTINUES because of them, who have sold their children and country into bondage. reality is beyond your understanding.

  • @UltraGokin The 70s were full of songs now considered classics because they were pretty much all that was out there and everyone was exposed to and chose from the same stuff. Our generation has more to pick from. Although we still pay homage to past generations' stuff.

It's not true that we don't grow up aware of and appreciative of older stuff. Where is your citation for that? (Joke. Sort of.) You're judging a middle-aged person's take on culture to a 12 year old's.

  • @stephantom You have one distinct advantage, you were not around in the 70s and maybe part of the 80s. "Our generation has more to pick from" Not quite true, there was more racial harmony in the media back then than today, many people picked from country, rock, blue, R & B, soul, funk, and the emerging hip/hop scene, done believe me, checkout films like breakin' where you see white people breakin' ... I dont consider 25 middle age when you were 12.

  • @robfergusonjr Confused by your last sentence. When I was 12? What? If you were around in the 70s, you're not 25 -- you're middle-aged or older. (I myself am 23 btw).

And yes, there were interesting emerging genres then. But there are today too. Every genre has split into a bunch of new sub-genres because of innovation and because of the huge amount of profilleration created by the Internet.

And while I won't say that there was NO racial harmony then, I dont think there was more than now.

  • @darkrider852 How the hell can I (or "my generation") be responsible both for poor "stuttering" teachers AND money-hungry CEOs??? My generation does not have CEOs because my generation is in their 20s still. And the "Fairly Odd Parents" was a thing back when my brother was a little kid like 10 years ago.

You can finger point all you like but all it does is make you kind of an asshole looking for an easy solution. Not even a solution, just weird, generalizing blame and villainizing.

  • - heh, their 'not exactly' 20 anymore. why is your generation responsible for stuttering incoherent ''teachers'' that are as fit to teach as a pack of wild chimpanzess and old money hungry ceo's? - well there you have it. its not someone less than 60 ''teaching'' math so badly for the last 20 years that i and many others hate the very mention of it. easy solution? ha. your generation has made that close to impossible. it wasnt anyone young in the oval office whenever ''depression'' hits -

  • - depression hits because of old people in wall street cracking their knuckles together like awful impressions of comic book super villans - its fat, old people. chomping cigars. from your generation. thats obvious. not that you seem to get it, but hey. such is life for those from the dark ages even if they have to resort to very tired throw backs like ''looking for an easy solution'' ''blame'' and ''villanizing'', the trade marks of your generations time. zzz.

  • whenever all those shows from places like cartoon network show of course i or anyone whos out of the mind death grip of your generations continuing terrible legacys and terrible desensitizing methods wont watch those things - but the kids, being KIDS still watch crap like that hurts your brain and eyes when you watch it on tv - made by the plotting, graph churning reptile eyed grey haired people - well not from our generation. not a chance in hell.

  • going to see a doctor would be great - if they werent fattening, cruel people that only try to pump you up with as much pharmaco crapola as your system can die from - all born more than 40 years ago. no respect? haa. i havent seen anyone in my generation recieve an ounce of respect by your child abusing people since the age of 4 when i was carted off like everyone else to be ''taught'' in a series of brainwashing camps. but thats to be expected by people who cant teach you anything. -

  • @UltraGokin A downward spiral? Yes, many older shows, movies and music have a certain charm about them, but they also often have elements of... misogyny, xenophobia, racism... Not that they don't exist now. But today's culture has lot of interesting stuff going on -- a bunch of thoughtful, subtle, realistic tv shows like The Wire, Breaking Bad, Madmen, etc., and on the kids' front, some wonderfully weird and clever cartoons like Adventure Time. And on the music front, you can't judge"us by our

  • Oh, fat rats!!

  • @UltraGokin lol All I hear is blablabla kids these days we used to walk TEN miles in the snow good old days

Granted, my generation is saying this shit now too about all the '00 kids and their Miley Cyrus etc. stuff. But it's just a nostalgic bias.

  • @stephantom

Yeah but your generation is gay. Internet fucked it all up for you guys.

  • @charlyblues he said via the Internet while viewing videos on the Internet.

  • Oh man. I just remembered that this show existed.

  • Gasp! The remake of a twenty-year-old kids' show was different from the original! Oh no!

  • anyone remember this show?

  • Tasha was the little dino right? I know that the hairry dude was named Stink, and the big mean one's Scarface.

  • @cy916 Wtf are you so proud of, retard? You didn't do shit.

  • @NoisemakerArrow That comment deserved a rate up.

  • did they ever make it back to the human realm??

  • @brandaddy0 thats the thing about these shows and cartoons from the 90's..we will never see the begining and the ending. inspector gadget, mighty max, dark stalkers, beast wars cybertron, the sylvester and tweety mysteries, the phantom, batman/and robin, batman beyond, the animaniacs - and many more, we wont know how they ended unless the individual hunts every dvd down like prey.. the beast wars series especially. i have a strange collection of myriad memories involving a bunch of series's -

  • - series's where the transformers were dinosaurs at one point long before 3d beast wars came out, some getting sucked into tar and fighting the decepticons making complete no sense any more, but the series's do exist. its really weird too. suddenly after a while the many episode memorys of the 90's land of the lost i saw when i was little just went to the back of my brain and were mostly forgotten. so weird sometimes i wonder if i ever even saw those tv shows.. if they werent just a dream..

  • @darkrider852

i think all this is a dream. travel wayward fellow 90s brother.

  • I miss Tasha:(:(:(:( a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ill admit it when i was younger i only watched this show to see the T-Rex.

  • @XxComablackxX1937

Really? I watched because I liked the older version, which still aired in the 80s, when I was younger. And because of Christa!

  • omg my fav showwwwwwwww lol

  • could the quality be any worse?

  • This intro is epic, love the song, especially the chorus....

"Living in the Land of the Lost!"

  • the 70s version was WAY WAY WAY better it had REAL STORIES it had some REALLY INTERESTING sci fi ideas despite being corny and low budget that show REALLY TRIED this show was a frigging joke.

  • @Zurround100 Amen brother! The 1990s version was a cheap rip off of the 70s version. 70s version is far superior than the 90s version.

  • Wow, I haven't seen or heard this since the mid 90's! Wow, flashbacks like crazy!

  • @Djsimonroc88 I'd probably hit repeat on my time machine to relive these good shows over again, especially since I already know the crap that is to come to tv.

  • livin in the land of the lost!!!!!!!!!!

jeesus christ i never thought something so lame would have me juiced when i heard it again

  • This series sucked compared to the original. Just wasnt the same.

  • @TodAG69 cause it wasnt supposed to be, its just a reimagening

  • My God, I remember this show. This really brings me back.

  • I used to LOVE this show. I feel OLD!!!!!!!!

  • All of these, every version, has terrible effects

  • I was born in 91 and briefly got hooked to this not long before they cancelled it. First thing saturday morning was lucky charms cereal and this to celebrate two days without school. Memories of times that are no more.

If I could be granted one wish it would be to reset my life after i die live it through again.

  • holy hell i remember this show! i used to love it, haha.

  • Best "Land of the Lost" version. Hands Down.

  • My brother used to watch this alot when he was little, just because he loved dinosaurs. I used to watch it a bit too because it was kind of interesting.

  • Never liked this version of Land of the Lost. I remember when this version came out I was pissed off that they ruined the memory of the Old version.

  • Surreal an image just pooped up in my head of a cave man saying I remember when people started hunting deers I was pissed off that ruined the memmory of when my father and I used to hunt whooly mammoths.

I liked this version but I was born in 87. But now those complaints are well founded. Really, human race has being downgrading since its dawn but no question when Reality TV came out is like as if we were at the edge of a cliff and somone shot a cannonball at us.

  • @TwistedSister19 yeah but to kids who grew up watching this on saturday mornings like i did, and are now grown up, this shit is GODLY.

  • EPIC

  • we were looking for whores but we found dinosaurrrsss!!!

i used to scream that at the top of my lungs hahahahha

  • damn good memories

  • Not as fun as the original, but still far superior to what passes for live action ABC saturday morning fare these days.

  • OMG I watched this when I was little, I forgot what it was called.

  • LOVE IT XDD

  • Actually, I liked te old one better, even with that freaky banjo music. Oh!, and the ssssshhhhhhhhh

  • SEE THE TRIPLE MOONS

  • Did they ever make it home before it got canceled?

  • @CrimsonMystery They made it home in one episode I remember, but the dinosaurs came trampling over their subdivision and they had to go back... it was weird.

  • TERRRRRIBLE show... lol

  • Bad!!!! chaka

  • That thing is reaching for a dildo at 0:39 Too Funny.

  • This was an awesome show!!

  • O nie! zaginiony świat :D jak ja dawno tego nie widziałem ... :)

  • CGI is getting kind of played. I mean it is necessary, but they over use it...

    Lol, I actually found this.

  • thats a stupid thing to say

  • Too much CGI takes the reality out of stuff and doesn't force actors to give it their all.

To tell you the truth, when they started over loading movies with CGI, thats when Hollywood started to suck.

  • that's another stupid thing to say

  • Ok, what's your opinion?

  • i already told you my opinion: you say stupid things

  • save us 90s from CG Hell!

  • That was my childhood

  • 0:39

    CHAKA

  • loved this show

  • These were the good 'ol days! Stop Motion, animatronics, and hand puppets. It doesn't get any better. Loved this show.

  • omfg i remember this show ive been looking for it for my kids

  • they should have died in that car wreck going in the hole
