I retro-fitted sequentials into my Trans Am back in 1985. It all started while I was in a salvage yard, and looking into the trunk of a 1969 T-bird, I saw the "brain box" to its sequential system. Over a month or so, I gave thought to how to wire it in to my 76 T/A. After I did, I was surprised to learn that when I hit the emergency flashers, both taillights sequenced. I understand Ford has now given the 2010 Mustang sequential tail lights.
i saw those on ebay, there like 300$ O_O, why spend so much money on something like that? O_O, i love em, but my opinion reallly expensive lol, ill stick with my stock bulb lights =D
thanks, Pontiac motor and a 4 speed. There are more videos of the car on here, check it out. I don;t think they brought on the olds motors as an option until 78? I could be wrong.
well, you will find that because it does not have a lot of rear overhang like a GTO, you may want to put your battery in the back and use a traction bar. It is the only way to make them stick to the track.
Pretty nifty setup :) .. But I sat there for 90 seconds waiting for you to fire it up. :(

Nice. They put the 403 in the late 77's. Thats what mine came with from the factory, but I put a PONTIAC 350 with a turbo 400 trans.

and your better off for it, ha ha. Thanks for the info, I wasn;t sure. I'm new to T/A's as GTO's have always been my choice before this car.

can hear the light suck that power out from the battery
RAJSTA81 2 years ago
actully, LED's are a much lower power drain than bulbs. What you hear is the fuel pump.

What's that ungodly sound that exactly matches switching signals?
geoffslaboot 2 years ago
It's the electric fuel pump.
