Reverend Jackson! Reverend Jackson! POLITICAL CORRECTNESS is not discriminating against this group! Where's your army of racist attorney's! He'p he'p! I am not being PC oppressed!
@GooglFascists Sha Na Na actually did their version of Hee Haw on the show, and called it Hee Hah (not positive about the spelling; after all, it has been 30+ years since I saw it!)
@Foofsmom Oh yeah, he did! I saw the clips you posted of him w/Jim Stafford & Adrienne Barbeau - funny stuff! A bit of trivia: his cab is a Dodge, that style built from 1946-48. Sorry, that's the car buff in me coming out. haha Thanks for posting!
Johnny was fabulous with this song. The whole skit is funny. We could use some crazy comedy like this today. All we have are weird reality shows. This was lighthearted comedy at it's best. You could watch this with your kids and not worry about something blue being said. I really miss the show. Am grateful for these clips.
This song takes me back to my pre-teens, when my parents used Sha Na Na as a reward incentive... bad grades/behavior, "no Sha Na Na!" I was a Sha Na Na junkie! WHEN will it be released on DVD?!
without a miracle it will not be released . Pierre Cossette did not renew his hold on the rights to the show after 20 yrs. To get it released one would have to pay exhorbant royalties to all the guest stars or thier families or thier estates. Pierre has since passed away.
It's sad that greed shows it's face in all aspects of life. I do believe after 50 years it will become public domain so there is always that! To bad that is still a ways off.
Oh my goodness, my sides hurt so from laughing so hard. That was hysterically funny.
Loved Jocko's underpants... ☺
Loved Santini's eyes crossing...☺
Johnny's voice is so incredibly amazing here... speechless... ♥ Yeah, we'll be watching this one over and over again.... Thanks so much for posting...
I remember this song in one skit. When I was at camp they did a skit with this song where they used toilet stalls and everyone was just cracking up!!! Such great memories!!!
Maybe some network will put it back on. I wish

@Foofsmom Thank goodness for YouTube. Also, if this had come out today, the PC police would be hollering even if Denny was dressed as an explorer.
Also, the music business has been ruined by the suits.

I love the fact that most of them met at college and they are all so smart and talented but they weren't afraid to be goofy. It's so endearing.
