This guy doesn't know that the US imports 63% of our crude oil and 19% of our natural gas. He doesn't even know what the definition of peak oil is, the point at which oil production peaks after which production declines.He has no idea what it would take to replace our dependence of fossill fuels like crude oil and natural gas with solar, wind and nuclear. And he needs to look up the word sustainable in a dictionary before he uses it again.
Terrible interview! First, the guy says 'E. King Hubbert' --- not exactly sure who that is (you'd think he'd do some research), then says it's an 'inventory' issue instead of 'flow rate issue', then he comments and she responds by using the phrase ...'running out.' Finally, he brushes it off by alluding that governments are doing something about and we still have time to get into renewables. These people understand Peak Oil about as much as I understand how they can sleep at night. Urrrrgh !!!!!
