does this mean

1) She's extremely open to suggestion

2) I'm a shocking hypnotist (mainly because I don't know the basics)

3) That I need serious help because i've been trying for months, been slapped by strangers twice, kicked in the bollocks once and laughed at multiple times :L

@doctamic You must get the person on your side with a longer and interesting pre-talk. You must get them relaxed and have an open mind, not letting them sit there and think: 'What the **** is this ******* guy touching me up for' lol you know. So you need to also be open minded and if you do fail try again, fail again? Try again, and again untill you get one just perfect....

wow i got so much out of this video, i get it thanks nathan you rock. im going to try this on my budy. how im going to use this im going to have my budy play a lets pretend game you kno have him make believe he going to go on a miny hypnotic state then ill watch for eye fixation breathing signal then use a lot of my confidence ,then pigy back suggestion ..etc

@internetupdater, The likelihood that you could "do it wrong" and cause someone to die is so small as to be negligible. The possibility that you could cause them to never wake up again, just isn't going to happen. The subconscious mind will demand input at some point, and not receiving that, it will simply force wakefulness to find out what's going on. The subC mind hates a vacuum. It will find a way to fill it. And that basically means waking up.

For everybody just starting to learn hypnosis take what you Nathan has said and apply it don't let that knowledge just sit in your head, go out there and do it. You will find that if you take what Nathan has taught you will find impressive results! Im living proof I began hypnosis about 5 years ago using lame inductions which most of you have never even heard of. Nathan taught me Instant Inductions and to be honest they are dang effective and lightning fast.

I've been trying to hypnotise my friend for a while now, but he knows as much I do about hypnosis and inductions, so, everytime I say "sleep", he knows what he's expecting. I don't know how i can introduce an element of shock or suprise.

I don't want to start hypnotising others until I can hypnotise my friend properly.

- @snakekid33, what I would suggest is, since ANYTHING can be an induction, just make up one that your friend has never seen and so will not know what to expect or when. I make them up all the time. Or rather, I turn just about anything into an induction. Just start by telling him exactly what you intend to do, and then don't do it. Do something entirely different. The confusion will do most of the work for you.
