  • Thanks for post...

  • I have been trying so hard for a long time to get a good sound for this song on guitar and I just can't find it. What should I try?

  • I have had discussions with people who actually say that Hendrix was a mediocre writer of music. This and several others, (Burning of the Midnight Lamp, Angel, VooDoo Child slight return, etc.) the songs with more passion and many of the quieter ones, prove those people oh so very, very wrong.

  • Bands likes Zeppelin, Floyd, Doors, Hendrix give you chills? Are you physically attracted to music? I AM!

But If you think this is good well...Introducing my channel. IT attempts to open your mind up to a whole new world of musical truth. Don't forget to CHECK it OUT & subscribe IF U LIKE IT! <3muchlove

  • Question? No! JUST Jimi, THX for posting.

  • like mitch mitchell

  • one human rainbow of a symphony of awesome beauty,

and also Mitch, the only person that could jam with Jimi and look him in the eyes !

  • Thank U, lover! Yea-yea-yeah, little wing :)

  • For James123789: I was at this show, and the applause was slim because the hall was half empty when Jimi came on. This was 1968, and the audience was still getting loaded. I guess they didn't expect Hendrix to come on second. He played from a low riser to the left of the main stage. I was 3 feet away, between him and Mitch's set (or was that another life in a parallel universe?).

  • Fantastic!! Never heard this one! Thanks for posting!!

  • This is such a great version, too bad it's not available in better quality

Still great to hear tho, thanks for the upload

  • I was in the front row to see Jimi at Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon in 1969. No one can compare.
