Thanks Manuel, for your remark on creativity, for a (Jazz) Musician it's important to practice what you study and let it come out in a Natural sounding way, greets Vic.
I love the real old ''pre-Smooth Jazz'' Benson, like his ''It's Uptown'' album, which I've had for a long time as an LP and have since bought on CD as well. You did a fine job on this, Vic. I like the even feel to this. 8-)
Hi Scott, I know exactly what you mean, that old Benson Stuff was super great, especially with "Mc Duff" on organ, can't get enough of that. The first time I heard that Feel, man I simply couldn't sleep, what a sound, what "Natural timing", the guy is a genius together with Wes and Charly Christian, guys who don't listen to that have no "Roots"man. Saludos Amigo.
Thanks,Marques, it's great to find out that there are no boundaries in Music, and between generations, the acceptance of expression in whatever form is something to be cherished my friend, I'll be playing till my dying day, God bless you too, Victor.
Thanks Eddie, this morning I was listening to "Band of Gypsies" and I thought by myself incredible that 3 guys could make this Music,Jimi super inspired, the time stood still, and that's what Music does, beyond the boundaries of time and Space,it stands alone,as a statue so gracefully, greets Vic.
Hi Fred, thanks a lot Amigo, I missed your comment on "Afternoon in Paris" I'm sure you'll like it,please listen, I'm crazy bout the MJQ(Modern Jazz Quartet, especially the vibraphone)love "John Lewis" as a composer, give your opinion, greets Guitar aficionado,Vic.
