I have 3 guitars and people are always like "OMG WHY NOT JUST PLAY ONE?" it frustrates me so much. They don't understand different guitars play differently and every guitar gives a different sound. is it only me? anyway... mark is just my idol :)

All his solo albums are brilliant... she's missed out on some of the most beautiful music ever recorded.

It just exasperates me to hear Mark being asked such a stupid question. Someone of his stature ought to be treated with more respect.

I remember Mark being asked the impossible and rather silly question 'how do you feel about being the world's best guitarist' (a typical misconception among non-guitarists - because how can anyone be 'the best' at art or music?). Mark's answer: "Oh, seriously, I would be a guitar teacher's worst nightmare." - and he seemed to be quite honest about that! :)

Looking forward to hear Mark in June. One of my earliest sources of inspiration on the guitar.

I got me the "Get Lucky" album. And just from the first song. I got shivers down my spine.

I really admire Mark Knopfler because despite his age. He's still making music all the time. And is still performing tours across the globe.

His heart is in music, and that reflects on his albums. I've already ordered tickets for when he's in Belgium , and I know I'm going to enjoy every single second.

As for the interview, don't you guys think that his answers are more important then the questions?
