The Germans started getting there asses kicked by the Russians by 1942 after they failed to take Stalingrad. Germans would surrendered in the 10 and even the 100's of thousands, where as out of 20,000 you'd be lucky to take 100 jap

The army has been losing major battles since 1776, the Marines have lost 0 major battles.

Was more than what any "Marine" had to go through on the whole pacific front. The strategies the Germans used was FAR MORE superior than any Japanese strategy, witch made warfare that much harder. The Japs fought to the death. The Germans didn't. The Army has had the largest surrender of US forces in history.And don't confuse an elite group like the 101st with the reg Army. The Germans started getting there asses kicked by the Russians by 1942 after they failed to take Stalingrad. The japanese STARTED doing banzai attacks in the early part of the war, but realizing they were losing to many troops that way- they turned to CAVE and JUNGLE warfare. Germans would surrendered in the 10 and even the 100's of thousands, where as out of 20,000 you'd be lucky to take 100 jap
