One shouldn't listen to the shift light on the dashboard. It lights too early. You need to get a little more RPM going before you should even think about shifting. It's more economical this way. Shifting too early is going to cause you floor the pedal and "spray" petrol all over. I have a driving teacher who doesn't realize this I believe. I usually have to gear back down when he wants me to go past a gear I've decided to use myself.

@JBrown1017 The headers for the ej20 wrap around to go to the up pipe and to the turbo. If you have a dual-port 1.8L, then it will bolt up but will not plumb correctly without the turbocharger in place.
