How to reinstall window vista

i have windiws vista and i have recovery manager but wich buttons should i hit my pc have totaly crashed and i cant turn it on,,, the problem is that i got a big virus and it crashed i can turn it on blue screen comes and there is F10 boot setup F11 recovery manager when i go into recovery manager and recover my pc at last it doesnt work the virus is still there. Iwould appreciete some help.

My brother gave me his Acer Aspire 4730Z-321G16Mn (with Ubuntu 11.10 OS installed) after he purchased a Lenovo ideapad netbook, but I don't want to use Linux and I want to reinstall Windows Vista which originally install when he purchase since 2008. Is it possible to reinstall Windows using the "Resource DVD" that came to my Acer, or do I need to purchase a retail Windows installer?

that u need to do is to hit F11 then hold it in few swconds then take advanced settings and take the last alternativ, then just wait to it to be done like if that helped :)

hey i have a accer laptop i accidently turned it off before properly shuting it down and then my computer did not let me acsess the the desktop,then i hired this one guy to fix it for me but now when you log in and get it up and running it looks like as if it was like and xp or some thing i tried going to display setting and now its all screwd up do i have to re install windows vista all over again on it

If you want to reinstall your windows, you must have your recovery disc, and then follow by step by steps in above.

check it out what is your laptop model and order a recovery disc online. but I'm confused that, why you don't create one of your recovery disc in your first purchased?

Because I never thought of doing that. But its ok. I contacted VAIO customer care ppl and they say the recovery thing is hidden in my hard drive so i dont need to make any recovery disc.

your welcome! but you must be create now! choose VAIO Recovery center, then click ''create a recovery discs''. you need to ready two of dvds to create recovery disc, next time in case you can format it easily. have a nice weekend! ^^x

First of all, you need to backup all of your files to your another hard drive. I recommend you to buy a 500GB Buffalo Hard drive. It's very easy to tranfer b'coz movies size is so large. if you save to your window hard drive it will make your laptop fan noisy and slowly. normally when you recovering/re-installing your window vista, it will be totally ''format'' like a NEW Laptop! I will be back on wednesday. I am in paris right now ^.^V*

ummm isnt there a thing that saves ur files ? theres a thing that format and not format and if u press format the delete windows and if not they create old windows file

what is your laptop model? Find the right one for your laptop recovery disksonline.

There should be TWO RECOVERY DVD. But why don't you created the recovery disks before? It's most important for everyone. if you have a lot of virus now. GO Purchase a RIGHT ''Recovery DVD''Format and reinstall. Pls. don't download any free recovery dvd online it's all FAKE.

☞burning an bootable CD using Nero 8 it is very easy, Just follow these instructions: File > Open A window will appear and browse the image file you want to burn then press Open Then a window saying^^
