  • Amen. NOt SURE THAT AMERICAN CHRISTIANS ARE "GONNA LIKE" THIS WORD. BUT I BELIEVE THE SPIRIT IS NOW SPEAKING THAT ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE SENT YOUR CHILDREN TO RE-EDUCATION CAMPS BY CEASAR AND THE 666 BEAST STATE -- IN THE ABSENCE OF REPENTANCE -- NEED TO PREPARE FOR YOUR INCARCERATION IN FEMA DEATH CAMPS. BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOT HEEDED GOD'S STERN WARNINGS TO REMOVE YOUR CHILDREN FROM STATE CONTROL -- YOU MAY REAP WHAT YOU HAVE SOWN. YOU BETTER PRAY AND REPENT IF YOU WANNA LIVE.

  • Thanks for this video clip. Impressive!

  • @babyfrog100 the government schools have a FEDERAL MANDATE to DENY GOD!!! That is why they were established, to promote secular humanism! If you don't think there is a problem in a system that is designed to DENY GOD you are biblically illiterate and don't know the real history of the establishment of government schools. Please go read some history!

  • Public schools aren't the problem. Parents abdicating their responsibility is! When are people going to start taking responsibility for their irresponsibility? If you believe in God, then live it and teach it to you kids and quit expecting the rest of the world to teach your children your values. That is your job and I believe it says so in the Bible.

  • "If we send our children to Caesar to be educated, we shouldn't be surprised that they come home Romans." WOW!!! That says it all. Government schools turn people into worshippers of government.

  • I should say, a lot of Christian homeschooling

  • Sorry, religion can lead smart people to believe things that are fairly Far from reality, and Christian homeschooling insulates from evidence- based worldviews.

  • @billymagfhloinn

Evidence based upon what? Facts are not neutral, but must be interpreted according to a myriad of assumptions. But if the basis of knowledge is strictly what we see, hear, feel, then what of the intangible assumptions in which we put our faith? What of our senses themselves? How do we know we can trust them? Can we be sure that we actually see, hear, and feel? And what of the world around us? Morality? Human dignity? Laws of logic? Rationality? They are unaccounted for. Lost.

  • @brokenexile If you do not trust in the fact that human senses, experiment and mathematics cannot provide us with a reasonably consistent and objective view of the world, with observable and repeatable results, then I suspect you might be too far down the rabbit hole.

  • @billymagfhloinn

I never said I didn't believe that. Our senses certainly can be trusted. The repeatability of experimentation, manifestations of mathematical models in the natural world, these too are quite evident. The question goes deeper than such things, however.

Can one contradict one's self and remain cogent? And further, is it not true that the methodology of logic or reason is the only valid way to evaluate the truth or falsity of any statement which claims to be factual?

  • @brokenexile Matthew 16:16-18

King James Version (KJV) 16And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. YOUR SENSES CANNOT REVEAL JESUS CHRIST AND THE TRUTH OF SCRIPTURE. HUMAN SENSES will land a person straight into hell. And, in the times that are coming, A GOVERNMENT FEMA DEATH CAMP possibly.

  • Didn't say stupid there Matthew, but religion can

  • Keep 'em homeschooled, world is flat, women are to obey, earth is 5000 years old, dissenting opinions originate with Satan.

    Yup, that's progress alright.

  • @billymagfhloinn

So, basically, Billy, what your saying in your argument against homeschooling and Christians is that they are stupid. Hey world, Billy has figured it out -- Christians and homeschoolers are stupid. I bet you got a gold star on your forehead from your teacher for coming up with such an intellectual assessment. Everybody, lets give Billy a hand because he is soooo smart. He knows how to call people stupid.

  • This video really convicted me but my husband was not on board to have our boys homeschooled. After much prayer for God to do a work in my husband, we are now homeschooling starting this semester. Thank you Voddie!

  • @MustardSeedish We also just started homeschooling this week, I'm the husband that wasn't so sure (I can relate). I was afraid of my son missing out. It never occured that he is already missing out on things, because of the amount of time he sits in class, and the bus. This video really spoke to me because I was the one that believe he could battle and address what happened in school, by discussing it over dinner! You can't compete with 8 hrs. of indoctination in a half hour! Good luck

  • Wow, very insightful. I would like to see more videos of this guy.

  • To God be the glory for all His Marvelous Works and Acts....Dr. Vaugh you are a God sent....Thank You for being obedient to the voice of the Lord...Obedience is better than sacrifice....you shall be rewarded with blessings that you will not have room enough to receive...God Bless Yoouuuuu!!!!! I'm not against public schools, because I went to public schools..and I Love The LORD with all my heart....but follow the voice of the Lord and if homeschooling your child is best.....DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To God be the glory for all His Marvelous Works and Acts....Dr. Vaugh you are a God sent....Thank You for being obedient to the voice of the Lord...Obedience is better than sacrifice....you shall be rewarded with blessings that you will not have room enough to receive...God Bless Yooooooooooooouuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is absolutely preposterous. It should be up to the child whether or not they want to believe in a God. I was given the choice, and I chose to not believe in one. It wasn't because my teachers taught me there wasn't one. It's because I'm smart enough to see that there isn't any evidence proving there is one.

  • Yes! Voddie Rocks!

  • Where can I find this man's dvds or website? I'm looking for him and can't get a link? Please help!

  • The "teachers" that we all end up being like are our parents, more than anything. Though many of us like to keep telling ourselves while we grow up and age that "We'll never be like mom or dad", we do -- in spite of what teachers we have in public school.

  • @MinstrelKrampf You really think you do not behave like your teachers?

    Reread your posts.

  • If all children educated by the public education system "become like their teachers", then how come I, and pretty much all of the kids I went to school with never ended up being a wishy-washy, passive-aggressive, tofu-eating, metro-sexuals who speak with lisps? I mean really! Stop being mad at public education just because you can't prevent your kids from being exposed to non-church people.

  • yes I'm proud to be grandchild of Caesar.

  • ROFL, this guy attended educational institutes which are ranked below the top 3000 globally. I couldn't even find the school he did his doctorate, if it's not an accredited school than he can't use the title of doctor. lol.

  • @Not2Sane

Really ? You've never heard of Oxford?

  • Go, Voddie, Go!!

Homeschooling is FREE :) Free from bondage which is first and foremost. Beyond that, there are free resources and monumentally affordable materials all around us. For less than the cost of the internet and/or cable tv, a family could easily spend hundreds less than these two luxuries. It's all a matter of what is important, bottom line.

  • Homeschooling ROCKS. From one who had my kids in school, and being knocked over the head by God to do this. If you feel called, you can figure out how. If it's what God wants for you, He will bless you in it, and bring you great joy. Don't trust ME, trust GOD!

  • when i met a family that had 6 children, who homeschooled..and I saw the peace in the eyes of the children, As well as different spirit..I wanted that.. years later, the LORd led me, a single mom to do the same..as I stepped out in fear, he led, and peace came..as well as entrepreneur-ideas, given from GOD.follow HIM.Its worth it. We use PACE books, and I DONT TEACH them!:) its a blessing, my kids are leaders, and its by grace,BUT.. I LISTENED 2 HIM.Wisdom says dont hand them to the LOST 2 lead

  • I disagree with his mentality. Keep in mind I don't disagree with homeschooling but I certainly don't agree that public school is this evil thing. Don't be guilted by this guy.....if you are a christian parent ....THERE IS HOPE....to navigate through public school and GASP your kids can develop character. For starters....read "Going Public" by Kelli and David Pritchard.

  • @sirsaint88 My BIBLE tells me differently,

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Public school is rooted in Darwin Evolution, separating children by age = evolutionary process. You better believe it's evil!

  • we will just have to disagree because my Bible tells parents that it's their job to teach about God. Not any schools job. I will teach my kids about Jesus and their teachers will teach them about math, science, English, etc. All the while being closely monitored by me as their father. There is absolutely nothing wrong with sending your kids to public school. Kids fall away from the faith because PARENTS haven't trained their kids in the faith. Parents are the ones to blame, not public schools.

  • @sirsaint88 You do God's Word a disservice to separate Math, Science, and English from it. What did people do before the public education system? God's Word gives us all that we need to learn everything we need to know about the World.

I do agree, parents are to blame, for putting their children in harms way.

A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher. Luke 6:40

Children spend MORE time with teachers than parents.

  • @sirsaint88 I don't understand how parents can think that the secular school system can possibly teach children God's Plan for Math, Science, History, English, etc. Nor do I understand how anyone can believe they can combat the 8 hours a day of indoctrination that children get in the Public Schools. You need to order this video and watch the whole thing and read Already Gone by Ken Ham and Brit Beemer. Also check out Answers In Genesis

  • @AcaiBunch

I am sorry I just can't be convinced that the Bible says that education must only be done by parents. Home School is great but not for everyone. Public School is just as valid and loving of a choice. It's not the schools that fail our kids in the realm of faith it is the parents who fail to teach the FAITH to their kids. Your logic doesn't hold a lot of Biblical ground. My kids can go through public school and still be disciples of Jesus. As I went through public school.

  • @sirsaint88 Really? You don't see Biblical grounds against public education? I just quoted you three passages that speak directly against it!

Again, read "Already Gone" by Ken Ham and Brit Beemer. It explains how compartmentalizing our Christianity [parents for spiritual ~ schools for education] has changed the way our children see God's Word. If it were not for God we would not have Science, Math, English...etc.

  • @AcaiBunch, also....you act like kids go to public school and learn about homosexuality, evolution non stop. I am sorry again most of these kids their ideas about their world from the home. Again Christian parents let their kids watch MTV or BET all day which promote that. The home is base, parents are key to their kids faith and education, doesn't matter what schooling choice they choose.

  • @sirsaint88 Well, I didn't say that, but how many public schools do you know choose their curriculum based on the Bible? It does not take much to sway a child to secular thinking when they spend 8 hours a day hearing it. They see it in the other students, and teachers, read it, watch it....You seriously think you can combat that in your meager time with your children?

No Christian parents I know let their children watch MTV or BET.

  • Just gonna end it here. I will take a look into that book. Please take a look into "Going Public" by Kelli/David Pritchard, You just have to be careful about blanket statements and half truths you here about public school. Parents are the key to a child's success. Parents are the key to passing the faith. Public school doesn't allow me to say to them well you don't have to be christian's there. My home, it's values, extend all places they will go. My time with my kid's isn't meager......

  • @sirsaint88 I did not mean that your quality of time with your kids was meager, I meant that it is meager compared to the amount of time they spend with the enemy.

If you really believe that you can "un-program" them in the small amount of time you have with them, then more power to ya.

  • When is public school the enemy? Is it when they help special needs kids? When they go the extra mile for a student? When they indoctrinate them with "secular" math? Public school isn't the enemy, if anything they deal with the ravages of what kids go through at home. I am sorry but you have been ill informed. Public schools have some problems I'll agree, but Christian kids don't lose their faith because public schools, they lose any faith they had because they aren't trained at home.

  • It's the parents job to instruct their kids in righteousness. Don't get me wrong I support full time private or home school. But shame on you for acting like a pharisee on this issue. Shall my kids not play with non chrisitan kids? Shall they not be able to go to a non chrisitan college? Non chrisitan employment?

  • @AcaiBunch .....every Christian parent is a home school teacher. Regardless of school choice. My Bible tells me it's a parents job to teach them about Christ. We all have to make the best decisions for our families. Home school or private school isn't always a reality for many CHRISTIAN parents. Shame on the factions in the church that shame Christian parents for lovingly choosing public school. Shame on any parent who doesn't devote their energy to teaching the truths about Christ as well.

  • @sirsaint88 You are welcome to make the decisions you feel the Lord has called you to make for your family. ME...I don't believe in "good enough for me good enough for my kids". I want better for them. But not better education, more money, better jobs...NO...I want them to be better Christians than I was, and am. They NEED to see Christ in everything, not just church or the Bible, but in Science, Math, Language, History. Not separate from Him but all part of His great plan.

  • It does not cost that much to homeschool I homeschool.

  • @02daughteroftheKING

If I ever get married and have kids, I'd definitely want to homeschool. You know what goes into your kids' heads!

  • That's great, But how about if a parent can't afford 5500-6000 a year for christian schooling and / or home schooling? Thats how much it costs here in nyc for both.

  • Comment removed

  • i live in northern ireland, he was preching in my church this morning. amazing

  • Saintpine,

He said K-12 (kindergarten through 12). He came to our homeschool convention and spoke and the man is awesome and annointed. He is a certified scholar and extremely genuine.

  • Are government schools in the US really anti-God environment ?

He says "from 8 thu 12 children spend 14000 seat hours in school !!"

That is nearly 10 hours/day everyday including saterdays and sundays, 365days per year, that is torture, so he must be mistaked, or I heard wrong.

  • K-12 not 8

  • god doesnt forbid it but you my friend are stupid these homeschool kids are able to love and not abuse unlike most kids in the public schools they are no smarter as far as books but as far as the things that matter in life like how to love and have a full life they are mile's ahead of your public school's

  • You're right about the three questions. We get them all the time. It's one of the many areas in our society where people have been conditioned without realizing it.

Like, if you don't drink, people always want to know why not. But no one ever questions anyone about why they drink.

No one ever stops to ask, "why do I send my kids to government school?" But they question a method that has proven time and again to be more effective than government school. Go figure.

  • When the children grow up to be jacked up I have never heard anyone blame it on the "school system". It is always - where were that kids parents?

  • Amen Dr. Voddie!

  • This dude is crazy. A good education allows children to think for themselves instead of just what parents believe. I grew up around kids like this and I could not believe the stuff that came from their mouths. Also Julius Caesar was a military leader who cared more about controlling people with military. It was required that all men join the military at this point. The U.S. education system sets people free and this guy wants nothing to do with freedom.

  • Thank you for proving Dr. Baucham's point so eloquently.

  • Kids need information from the outside world not just from their parents. The kind of education system we have was invented by Confucius. His methods of mass education dismantled an empire because kids grew up just as smart if not smarter than the government that was controlling them. Caesar was not interested in education. All he wanted was power. Caesar was against big government because he wanted to be the government.

  • Freedom is not being FORCED BY ANYONE to put their kids ANYWHERE.

And by the way, when our nation was that way, we were the most literate and well educated. Children not only knew English, they were also taught Greek Hebrew and Latin as well. You see, the Puritans wanted the next generation to know the Scriptures and walk in its truth, and this required a high degree of .literacy, not just in English, but in the other languages I mentioned as well.

  • THe high school grads of the last fifty years couldn't make it out of the second grade of the Founding Era.

  • And the high school grads of the founding era could not could not make it out of the second grade now. They would have no idea how to use a computer. I took early American English lit and it was a hard class. People don't talk or write that way anymore. Most people I know hated reading the scarlet letter. My dad happens to love that stuff. I have a hard time with the leather stocking tails.

  • Your comparison is false. Knowing how to hit a few buttons is easy, and plenty of contemporary Americans can do that. Even monkeys can learn to do that.

But being highly literate and versed in multiple languages is something else altogether. Unlike todays Americans.the children of the Founding era were not only taught the Constitution, but they could analyze politicians and their policies and quickly see who was trying to undermine it.

  • I only used what you gave me. You brought up teaching multiple languages not me. Just so you know I grew up in a family of history buffs my comparisons hit the nail on the head. Just so you know I had to teach the constitution in a class and all I want to teach is math.

Oh and by the way schools give kids the right to information that people like this try to keep them from learning. I think we have come a long way from old school houses.

  • Yeah thats why so many kids ran away from the Puritan communities. And no most kids started working at the age of 12 before school was required. The first union walk out was led by a 13 year old girl. We live such a comfortable life stile because of public education. I do agree that everyone in the US should know at least two languages. I wish I knew Spanish and French. Oh and by the way I became a Buddhist. No one made that choice except for me. That is real freedom.

  • @Providential1611 Ok the biggest problem with many of the Puritan communities was runaways.

The reason why they made school required was to fight child labor. Now if kids are working 12 to 15 hours a day how are they learning anything. In fact some of the first walk outs were lead by kids as young as 11 years old.

  • Voddie, you totally ROCK and I pray God blesses every year of your life with a mighty harvest.

  • Luke 6:40 A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher.

Who do you want your children to be like? What teacher do you want them to emulate and resemble? With proper training they can be like Jesus, but they will not get that in a public school setting. It MUST come from home.

  • The problem is that most educators believe and will convey to the parents, "We are trained professionals, don't try this at home, you don't know how to educate your children, they don't like you, trust me, just drop them off." And parents believe it.

If you can teach your child how to eat, tie their shoes and use the bathroom, you can educate your child as well. Don't be afraid to take up the responsibility that God gave you. He will help you!

  • I am an educator and i believe yall can educate your kids at shack because all you need to teach'em are a few months of [hard] study, discipline and a brain. Teachers dont have a miraculous technique that parents dont have. The problem is... not all parents are non-crack, non-whores, non-all-day-working-drunk-pissed-off-crazy Voddies.

    With all due respect.

  • Your response tends to represent most educators response to home schoolers. The public school system is no longer an education system, it is an indoctrination system.

Ultimately, the responsibility for a child's training, discipline, discipleship, evangelism and education falls to the parents. We answer to God for how they are raised, not the schools or churches. Most Formal Educators do not understand or believe this.

  • Aham, i understand and believe this.

If you think educating your kids at home is better, go do it! Click your heels twice and run, Forest, run!

Just dont come telling me i am teaching your kids the doctrine of the devil when i work my ass to recover kids who are addicts and sexually abused because of PARENTS who think they know best than we do.

  • Properly educated parents know that they know what is best for their children because God tells us that we do. God's word is clear on how to raise our children and give us clear direction on our responsibility as parents.

Whether or not you educate your children at home the responsibility ultimately falls to parents, not the school. Every child needs home training. It is not the school's responsibility to teach children proper behavior and the reasons behind it.

  • So true! That's why in deuteronomy God is telling'em to ENGRAVE the law in their little childrens' minds. Not the sunday school teacher! Not the pastor! Not aunt Jamie or granda Louie, DAD AND MOM!

  • I know a few "Well educated parents" that could not tell me the definition of slope. It's not hard for many students to surpass their parents in just a high school education. Many students take calculus in high. If your kid surpassed you in Math how do you suppose he learn it. Oh and if you think math is worthless try living without this equation.

    P = C (1 + r/n)^nt

  • No, your children aren't your property either.

  • God forbid they find a mind of their own.

  • I wonder about those with a college education, but now are in debt and without a "good job" because of the economy that has crumbled because of too much reliance on this very system. It's sad how things are set up. "Duuuuh, let's keep feeding this system with our money by sending our kids to a place where we are paying them to have complete control of what they are teaching them. Even though more than 90% of that has nothing to do with the reason they're there in the 1st place."

  • Actually according to statistics, most homeschooled children go to college at an earlier age because they complete the minimum requirements for graduation at an earlier age. They have relitively no social problems, and actually excell much more then private or public school educated children because they're able to persue other interests on their own time that public schools don't off, due to time constraints. Educate yourself my friend. Do some research.

  • I studying to be a teacher but I knew 10 kids from work that were all home schooled and only 3 passed the ACT. The other 7 students had to go to Delgado community college to learn not only how to sit in a class of 25 students but also how to study. Yes that's right they all had to learn how to take notes and study. I don't know what goes on in home schooling but it seems like the information was fed to them instead of learning on their own.

  • I also would like to see tthese statistics.

  • @Matthewcoakley08 This is the truth. Myself having been homeschooled from 1st grade to finishing highschool can report that i recieved my AA degree before i recieved my highschool diploma. And am able to converse effectivly with other people as just about anyone else would.

  • what about those who cannot afford to stay home and homeschool their children? This man is living in a bubble

  • Comment removed

  • We sacrifice things. And for 14.5 yrs we did without many things. We are just able to do things like occasionally eating out. So get rid of your new car, oversized house, boat, smokes, cable tv, movie nights out, dinner out, whatever you can to sacrifice. The blessings far out-weigh anything I may obtain by working outside my home. I am so blessed to be able to teach my children and see them grow daily and learn new things. How can you afford not to??

  • And you are lucky that you have a family that is able to sacrifice and still make it, but what about a single mother who has to work - maybe more than one job? It is a blessing yes, but one that not everyone can enjoy

  • You can still homeschool your children if you are single! You do not have to "do school" during certain times of the day. You do not even have to educate them in the traditional (mainstream) sense! There are literally TONS of options. Teach them how to learn on their own and they will only need a few minutes of guidance (with structured learning) from you every day! ANYONE can do this!

  • In the UK, the right to educate our children according our own beliefs will soon become as fiercely fought over as the US right to bear arms issue.

I am peace-loving and law-abiding and dread the day when I will have to say to the British government "You can have my children when you prize them from my cold, dead fingers".

So, when can we expect a UK tour, Voddie?

  • AMEN! and AMEN!!!

  • How refreshing to hear this message from a conservative African American male who is willing to stand against the tide. He is preaching TRUTH from the word of God as it applies to the future of our children and ultimately to our whole nation. I'm SO proud of Voddie and know that God has raised him up for such a time as this. Let's pray that other conservative black Christians will take a stand for what is right & not support leaders whose actions directly oppose God's word. Voddie is God's man!

  • @bethsbabies voddie ain't from africa, yo. he's all american.

  • @anonazero Great, great, glad you're keeping up with that. Glad to hear it 'cause we're happy to claim him!

  • @bethsbabies amen!

  • Christians need to get their priorities correct and stop chasing after material wealth and keeping up with the Jones. We must pull our kids out of the public school system if we are going to change the culture.

  • Good video for REALLY raising our children.

  • Absolutely Right!

  • Yes!

  • WoooHOOO Great stuff!!!

  • Truthful! Insightful! Unsettling! Christians must step up for their children.

  • My brother is putting it down! Im so proud of him, great message too

  • Oh thats gooooooood!!

  • Good video for pro-homeschooling!
