  • I have an idea how to deal with children carrying knives - tell them where Cameron lives, then they'll have something to take their frustration out on, and there would be no innocent loss of life.

  • Cameron you are a public school wanker. you will look after the "old boy" network the same as your school chum Boris has by putting up the price of public transport by 30% and not increasing the C charge to your public school chums in Chelsea! insted tax the greens and the poor. That is the Tory way EH

  • Erm, punctuation is an effective way of splitting your sentences into manageable, readable chunks ;)

  • throw food at him

  • Fuckin toffs.

  • Are you a CHAV lol

  • I'd love for you to come to Tunbridge Wells so that I can ask you some questions.

  • 2m55s. Man in audience: ...I think you seem quite genuine...

Cameron: Can I quit now then? Ha ha um...

Implying he'll soon see you as insincere if you continue? Anyway, thanks for the insight. Are you not trying to "gain" votes though?

  • In the society in which we live, it is a choice. You can choose to be or not to be a christian, muslim etc it's not like skin color or height for example where you have now choice.

Adhering to a religion IS a conscious choice, i reject the notion that people have no control over wether they believe or not. The facts are there, if you want to ignore them and continue being religous then that's your CHOICE.

  • Religion is not really a choice, you either believe or you don't.

  • You mean, you can choose to ignore the facts and not be religous or you can be ignorant self righteous religious prick?

You can still choose not to believe.

  • If you believe, which is not a conscious choice, then you are more than likely going to be affiliated with a religion. As such it is not a choise, per sé.

  • Id trust this fool about as far as my grandmother could throw him.

  • will you recind the smoking in pubs ban and will you curtail the power of the elf & safety exec,

will you give me a vote to leave the eu

will you reduce the compensashun sic culture.

will you get everyone off each others back. will you make us independent of scotland wales and Ireland.

No I thought not and as these are the most important issues to me I shan't vote for any of you!

  • who you going to vote for then GORDY

He may give vote to get out of EU constitution if its not too late

  • You forget he has sacked or forced into resignation the MEP's who have been proved to have been involved.

You comments are all spin no fact like the former Prime Minister. Let me guess do you read the Daily Mirror by any chance?? Miss Spellman acted well within the expenses rules in what she did. Later she thought it to be wrong on principle and cancelled it.

Now why don't you return to what Conservative destractors usually complain about, perhaps you should moan about the mines again....

  • Dave what do u think of Tory sleaze and Tory MEP's with their snouts in the trough. Yeah you talk the talk but your Party is riddled with sleaze...just ask a Nanny!

  • Interesting that you can post a comment here, but you're not allowed to on any of Gordon Brown's youtube efforts.

Doesn't that speak volumes about New Labour!

  • lol

Gordon Brown Is A FAT Bastard, he sucked the queen's dick

  • I hope you win in 2009, I'm sick of Labour & Gordon Brown is testing my nerves. The knife culture has soared badly under Labour, it existed under the Tories but not on the scale it does now. The recent issue with tackling youth drinking, the penalty for repeat offenders? an ASBO! the cost free easy way which doesn't work. Fuel prices are too high but it does help get people out their cars and helps the dangerous climate change problem. Labour just tax and waste, the people see nothing of it.

  • Rising oil prices! Rising energy prices! Shit, the supermarket prices have gone up! I know here's a great idea! Let's have tax cuts for the wealthiest 6-10% in society. Great idea Dave!

  • Any chance of such an event occuring in Northern Ireland. The conservatives fielded eight candidates in Northern Ireland last years assembly elections and received 0.5% of first preference votes. Northern Ireland is just as much a part of the UK as England, Scotland or Wales and a bit more publicity for the Conservatives in Northern Ireland could potentially win the Conservatives an extra 18 seats!

  • That's it, I give up Conservative because lack of deaf access! Goodbye!

  • Just provide some subtitles so i can understand what you are talking about it!

  • Av seen the news 2nite! gonna be PM Dave? hurrrah, get your snouts ready for the trough tories!

  • yeah right, tell us about your plans to abolish tax credits for the lowest paid working people and families and have tax cuts for the richest 5-10% of the pouplation. If you dare!

  • Tax credits are humiliating and patronising. They're also cynically designed to discourage the poorest from actually taking them up with sheer weight of bureaucracy. I'd be all in favour of eliminating them in favour of cuts in the lowest income tax bands. Labour does not have a monopoly on goodness or fairness.

  • so how come tax breaks for the wealthiest in society are fine (not seen as humiliating and patronising) but tax breaks for the lowest paid working people and families are regarded as 'humiliating and patronising?'. Do you have a monopoly on deciding what is humiliating and patronising to people?

At last a government that gives tax concessions to the lowest paid workers and not the wealthiest people in society!

    Thank you!

  • It's tax credits that are patronising. They make people waste their time begging the government for money, which is just demeaning. They should be scrapped and replaced with cuts in the basic rate of income tax. Which, incidentally, benefits everybody.

  • yeah, tax cuts in the basic rate of income tax, which, incidentally, benefits the wealthiest disproportionately far more than it would the lowest paid. For them a cut in the basic rate of income tax is peanuts, just a few quid extra! For the wealthy it can be £1000's extra annually. The lowest paid are far better off with tax credits...and guess what? The tories really hate that!

  • Actually basic rate cuts are much better for the poor than for the rich in terms of percentage income. The super rich would hardly even notice, but you can bet your bottom dollar the poor would.

  • yeah right! what you really mean is that the £2 or £3 extra a week from cuts in income tax is a bigger percentage of the total income of the lowest paid than £1000's to the TOTAL income of the wealthiest. So if the richest people 'would hardly even notice' then why are they so keen to have it? They don't need it.

What's more don't call low-paid working people, who contribute to society and their communities and their families 'the poor' - your patronising them!

  • Sorry, I meant 'those from less economically privileged backgrounds'.

  • Also, what the rich want are cuts in the TOP rate of income tax. If the Conservatives ever start arguing for that, you'll be right on in your assessment of them.

  • good answers but would he lower taxs on fule simepl as this is what is need. and way so litel quastins ansred. but i know he can begood for this contry gorden is the worst pm ever even worse then margret thacher at least she helpt the stat

  • i hope he becomes pm. give him a chance. if he's rubbish we can ditch him in 5 yrs. thats wot democracy is.

  • AGREE WITH ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING HE SAID

Watch the whole video if you can.

If this guy doesn't win then I'll be miffed.

  • I don't know why i can't be bothered to meet him when he was visiting my school (Kingham Hill) before he became the leader of opposition. I really regret that now. I lived in his constituency from 2003-2005

  • Blair mk2?

  • Altranson, it was flagged as a public meeting, but the public in general were not allowed in you had to be a card holder of clear supporter. UKIP sent a person he was local but was not allowed in when he declared his interest. Also Cameron finally admitted that the Tories will not give voters the Referendum they promised on the Reform Treaty.

  • SORT IMMIGRATION OUT

  • My dreams come true. Out of Europe and sort immigration out. If this were to happen i might actually consider staying in this country.

  • GET US OUT OF EUROPE DAVID

  • He has got to win. By far and away he is most in tuch with the British people far further, than any other political party.

  • Fact is UK needs a new government, so Cameron go for it, your it man!

  • My country needs me, yet i am locked up in hospital. Every hour passing is a loss of my resources and a loss to my queen and country. Park Royal Hospital, June 6 2008.

  • This sounds great, as long as they don't start vetting the questions and it genuinely is local residents and not party members.

  • I think this type of Public meeting is a good thing. It is how politics should be, polititians meeting people directly like it use to be, in the days of Harold Wilson, Heath and Callaghan. I like it, well done Cameron!

  • the good thing about cameron is he is going out directly to meet people. brown made a phone call without thinking of what time he called the elector. and it's cold calling

  • i support Cameron

but i agree with an earlier comment, perhaps instead of interacting with a bunch of conservative supporters on the issue

go and speak somewhere where it will be more hostile.

  • will you tell us about your plans for tax cuts for the wealthiest in society at your cosy village hall meetings?

  • David, all of the audience are already your supporters. Why don't you go and do this somewhere where you are not so well known? Brixton town hall? Moss side? Durham? Birmingham?

  • I LOVE YOU DAVID.

What, did I just say that...

  • Cameron Direct. Hmm, has a nice ring to it. I hope to see more of this.

  • awesome job =P
