@Justinba1010: Interesting. I'm not trying to stockpile for the end of the world. Most of the stuff I bought was only in my house for a few hours anyway, because I coupon shop for charity. I think I kept the candy and the sparkling grape juice. The rest went to people who were in need. I only keep a very small stockpile at our house, because there are only two of us.
wow great job! i just started my "stockpile" yesterday, so i know the feeling of being proud, even when it isn't as great of deals as the experts are getting! congrats!!!
What websites? I always here coupon people making these killer deals, but I can never find such sales to match up with coupons that I get out of the Sunday paper.
Someone asked me why I recorded it in the bathroom. LOL. I can tell you why. 1. I really like the shower curtain, and I thought the colors of it and the tile and rug made a nice back drop. 2. We had recently moved, so it was a nice looking flat space not covered in boxes, bubble wrap, or laundry needing to be done before it was all hung up again :P.
Congrats! I just started getting into couponing and the results have been astonishing. I've actually started saving my receipts to show my friends who do not believe how much I have been able to save.
I see u got 3 handsoap and did u use one coupon for each even thou they all are the same. Its just that I'm new to this and I know some coupon say limit one per purchase. I don't get it can u explain to me Can I use all coupons at once for the same product? Thanks
@26alexther This gets into purchase and transaction. I purchased 3 of the same scent hand soap in my transaction. So, I had 3 purchases of it. The purchase is the buying of the individual item. Some coupons will say one per transaction, and the transaction is all the items I am paying for at one time. I hope this clarifies that a bit. Happy couponing :).
@RobingdfelowsLady I have tried asking that same question to so many coupon gurus and got nothing!!! I still dont get it but thanx lol I feel slow when it comes to coupons I really do! lol Im pretty new to the whole coupon thing but Im learning lil by lil, I wish i could find someone nearby who could teach me lol
I have to clarify quickly on one thing. I know CVS doesn't need fillers with coupons. I am referring to the bars as fillers because I was at the register and ended up in the negative because something was cheaper than I had expected, so I got what was close and was something that I liked.
@RobingdfelowsLady I need to update this comment. I was in the negative, because at that time, CVS would allow you to pay for the order, including the tax with ECB's. They do not do that anymore(I don't blame them. Playing with tax can do weird things sometimes I think).
@Serenajean1 Thank you :). It's pretty easy to do when you get the hang of it. There are so many free websites out there that give you the deals, and all you have to find is the coupons. Everything but the Heath bars and Welch's were deals I found on the sites. The Welch's I had had my eye on for a while, and they were down to a dollar, and I had dollar off coupons. They last a really long time, and are really great for little celebrations. We've still got one of them.
Extra Care Bucks and coupons. I had coupons for everything there, plus I had Extra Care bucks that I had gotten. Keep an eye out for items you may want that have Extra Care bucks at CVS. For example, I don't know how much longer they are doing it, but they had 10 dollars in Extra Care Bucks if you bought 20 dollars in Pepsi (including 12 packs). Things like that. Since you don't have to use them all at once, you can use more than one at a later date before they expire.
When WW# happens, I don't think you'll be ok.
