I've been searching for this rear groove for ages. i used to own this record and danced to it back in the day. any hardcore club people should know this. the label was a mistake, it should have been on the A Side, so never got any air play, so you could only hear it in the clubs at the time. a big underground hit. Well done!!
Much love for this. The last half of this is pure instrumental boogie heaven. One of my all time "disco rap" faves. I seriously need the other issue of this 12" for the straight instrumental. Many, many thanks for the post.

En españa se edito con el Maxi de Max music y se titulaba Nwe york People. Tengo una copia, pero te imaginarás que la pinche durante los años 80 en muchas discotecas y ahora está muy bien guardadita. La tienes en versión LP en ebay. Un saludo desde Pamplona
Joder otro muerto viviente!, a mi me la acaba de pasar un amigo que tambien pinchaba, llevamos tiempo rebuscando y creando un mega archivo de R 'n'B,. para tener controlada toda esta musica. Hay muchas cosas que están editadas en cd, pero hay que rebuscar y preparar un presupuesto, Tanto esfuerzo (tiempo & money) merece la pena.

It was made by Delmar O'Donnell, a producer, who used session musicians and singers, 'Community People' never actually existed. The A and B side are almost identical, but there is another release (very limited) where the B side is purely instrumental and is called 'Education Rock' ... It is also on the Delmar label.
80´s, at Radio España, the most influent ( maybe not the most popular ) broadcast, Dj: MR. Antonio Bravo !. He broguht us, Community people, Tom Browne, Sister Sladge, The clash ( yes !: magnificient seven ,....) Where are you Mr Antonio Bravo !!!

Coño, no serás Antonio que ponía en la radio esta, Magnificient Seven, .....a las 10 de las noche justo después de ... no me acuerdo, el comentarista aquel que se hacía pasar por conde o marqués....
