  • he is saying that the particular spring harvest oolong (i m guessing from the color of the tea) that he is brewing taste its best during the chinese mid autumn festival (aug/sept in the gregorian calendar).

    my experience is most oolongs do taste better after being in contact with air for a couple of months, esp if it came in a vacuum sealed bag.

  • It's very noisy in the background because the streets are mobbed - the Olympic team is passing the torch here on this crazy day. It's May 2008. Around the corner it's a sea of people waving flags and celebrating.
