@LetsPlayer1995 The other reason that PC players look down on the graphics of consoles is that 720p and 1080p are "hi-def" but most PC players have been playing at 1280x1024 since about 1999, whereas for consoles it's only like 2 or 3 years old, so still being touted as brand new.
For those who want incredible graphics a 30 inch flat screen will do 2560x1600 which no HDTV can currently do (Even the 60 add inch ones). That and the xbox lacks SM 4.0 so it's at a huge technological disadvantage.
@MumblesCA I have a old PC game that only went to 1024x768, and it was made in 2000 I think. The only thing higher resolutions did in those kind of old games was made the hud smaller and more detailed, the graphics were still pretty bad.

Also we had the ability to play offline for lan tournaments and online the dedicated servers provide a much more stable and trusted playground which doesn't close down, neither does anyone get the benefit of 0 in ping.

steam is not a unified profile system, its a cheap unofficial knockoff that is not requiered. and console ONLY game.
This is where you really have no jurisdiction in talking. As an engineer I know for FACT that all console games run natively at 680p and then are upscaled depending on your TV. This means the picture is just stretched a bit to make it "look" like its above 680p. The only time you get true 1080p is sitting at the dash board, but never in game. Look at blizzard and valve, they are two of the richest game developers in the industry and they rely on the PC market. The game is rife with hackers, more than any other FPS shooter I've played (and I've played most).The Anti-cheat DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.When i played it (yes i gave up because the hacking was SO bad) i always encountered ppl hacking and exploiting.Seldom did i feel i had a "clean" game. I now play BF2, and I am quit happy when i see Punk Buster hard at work punting losers from the game.Rarely do i feel someone is hacking.I voted with my wallet, i probably won't buy any more Infinity Ward games.

i dont hate on PC games and i hope they dont hate on me for this but these are a few reasons why i prefer my xbox or my PC:
1. Majority of my friends have xbox360.
2. I dont like using a keyboard, i prefer a controller its more fun.
3. I prefer my 60 inch HD sony tv over a small monitor.
4. I think my xbox360 connection is better then my PC connection. (i have different modems.)
5. I think the overall expense of the PC and its add ons are more expensive then an xbox. Plus i might run into probs

you know it could possibly be (unlikely but just maybe) because they were thinking of linking xbox ps3 and pc in the same game but they didn't get round to it or thought it was a bad idea in the end so they ditched it, but still didn't put dedicated servers in, ran out of time, that sort of thing, probably not but that's a thought I had
I remember one game that tried to link consoles and pc gamers, pc gamers beat all the console gamers asses lol

Also we had the ability to play offline for lan tournaments and online the dedicated servers provide a much more stable and trusted playground which doesn't close down, neither does anyone get the benefit of 0 in ping.

@AgentMan1179 I didn't buy a laptop, I built my PC for $800, don't make bad inferences kid. A Xbox 360 doesn't have the same value as a gaming PC, as my PC is far superior than any xbox 360 both in hardware and software. A Xbox 360 is more expensive compared to a PC in the long run.

This is where you really have no jurisdiction in talking. As an engineer I know for FACT that all console games run natively at 680p and then are upscaled depending on your TV. This means the picture is just stretched a bit to make it "look" like its above 680p. The only time you get true 1080p is sitting at the dash board, but never in game. Your argument has failed...try again son.

Look at blizzard and valve, they are two of the richest game developers in the industry and they rely on the PC market. For the average multi-platform game PC makes up about 30% of sales and xbox 360+ps3 make up about 70%(combined). Argument failed...try again.

@TheKlungo when consoles get on the same hardware level then the performance will be better, ofc upgraded pc will ALWAYS be slightly ahead but who cares? in the future all graphics will be great. and yes Strategy games and MMOs are BIG. but thats not what were talking about. and basicly any other genre than that are <CONSOLE. fps is for both. controls are all in what you prefer, however we do have real movement, you have 4 keys, 8 movements. and tournys do not allow custom controllers.

This goes for every other type of game that works better with a controller like a racing game. Therefore any game is better on PC still, and steam is better than XBL or PSN.

once again blatantly untrue...PC as a platform has among the most casual and the most hardcore gamers in the world. You can go from browser based mini games all the way up to stuff like BF2 clan wars. For average players online in each game EXCLUDING the COD franchise it is about the same. Majority of console users are children under the age of 18 who play only CoD and halo.

hah this one made me chuckle. Most console games run at native 680p and have a tough time staying at an average of even 25 fps. Console games look like crap compared to maxed on PC to be completely honest, the res, texture and shadow quality are usually VERY low and there are jaggies all over the game space.

It'll be around $600-$700 just like the 360 and ps3, which was around $500-$600 for just consoles. However, i guaranteed that it won't beat pcs. But oh wait, next gen consoles won't be available in the next half-decade.

once again...WRONG! the very first FPS game made(wolfenstein 3d since you probably have no clue)was made for mouse and keyboard. Ever since the dawn of the PC there have been games made for it, from solitaire to simply text based puzzle games. A console itself is a limited PC, same hardware and all with just a specialized OS to limit its capabilities further.

Exactly why you never bitched about it. You've to realize that entire clans, communities is built around the modtools and dedicated servers.. and we've always had them before, it's also a better solution overall.
The advantages of dedis,tools are huge, with them an entire infrastructure is built on the PCs with removing public random crap like perks,streaks for ladders & pracc matches.. it leaves only skill and no random elements aka promote E-SPORT!

The game is rife with hackers, more than any other FPS shooter I've played (and I've played most).The Anti-cheat DOES NOT WORK AT ALL.When i played it (yes i gave up because the hacking was SO bad) i always encountered ppl hacking and exploiting.Seldom did i feel i had a "clean" game. I now play BF2, and I am quit happy when i see Punk Buster hard at work punting losers from the game.Rarely do i feel someone is hacking.I voted with my wallet, i probably won't buy any more Infinity Ward games.
