so what's REALLY going on here, is he medically unable to play the way he used to ? Because I could understand putting it down due to that. Mental or other severe physical problems ? OK. But other than that, I can't understand why he would quit. He was amazing. One of the best dead or alive, ever. I wish I knew what was really going on, he is sorely missed.
Damn, WHITE LION was a real attempt by someone at going after that "BON JOVII" market...remember, this was 86-87, Bon Jovi was fucking huge, so was Whitesnake, GNR APPETITE wasn't even out yet....
@SpikeMichaels And Slash was quite possibly the shittiest (aka, least talented) guitar player of the 80's. I blame Slash for opening the door to "Grunge" crap.
That was great...! I always thought of Vito Batta as the (Most Melodic guitar player)..! With the new style like Steve Via and Eddy Van Halen. I always thought he was under rated, and I bought White Lion Albums, just to listen to him!
I never went to a White Lion show to see Mike Tramp's bitch ass.....

Vito took Van Halen's genius and transformed into something all his own. That's genius as well
