Before I ask my question please allow me to send you and your family a warm hello from across the ocean (Toronto, Canada) for taking the time loading up this vid.
I know there's a window (not terminal) that you can open up like 'ms dos' with green text and you can command your mac what to do; on the tip of my tongue though can't remember. would you please tell me how I can bring it up.
@mdehee Hello to you to, First of all i am sorry for the message delay of almost a week.
I am not exactly sure what you exactly mean, but from what i can understand if you mean to minimize a application (on windows you simply click the line next to the cross to close) you hold command and hit m.
Or, do you mean going to to the top right of your mac (the search icon) cmd + space. You can type something in - e.g safari - and it will come up. That is sort of a command thing.
@MrTechoKing Hello to you as well,Thanks so much for replying. well I'd like to bring the window I explained up. My problem is I don't even know what's called to punch it in the search box. Again it's something like 'terminal' but the texts are in green from which you can type something to command the computer and tell it what to do; like back in the 90s 'MS-DOS on PCs'. I saw this a-few months ago on UTube N forgot to save it on Page.
Thanx 4 vid, I'll be watching it once I hit D post button.
If you go to applications on your mac then double click on utilities there should be a program called Terminal. On that you can command your mac to do anything you want it to. However, i found it difficult as i don't know any commands.
On mine it the text wasn't green but other people have said that it can be green or black (like mine).
Thanks so much for keeping that in your mind. That's probably it. That's the only thing I could find myself as you can tell from my previous comment about a month ago. The only command I know is to get my mac to say things. In fact I just typed 'say - Mr Teko King' (yes with a 'K')
