I bet most of these guys are really good................AT RIDING IN A STRAIGHT LINE ! That hill is 1/5 of the difficulty of ones at camp gruber in oklahoma and the ones there are a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.

@spazmoso It was slippery but the event was open with a range of skills. Lesser skills = lesser likelihood of getting up the hill.

@ridinhonda4life Nope. I did some of the filming and obtained some vid from others to make the vid. There was a huge traffic jam down the bottom of the hill. Philippe and I just worked around them and went straight up. I think I over took about 60 riders in one hit!

people must realize yeah this hill doesn't look steep but the camera makes it look flatter than it really is. Correct me if i'm wrong.

@akuatsuma7 It wasn't that steep and the riders getting stuck were either of a lower skill level or did not have their bikes prepared with good tyres correctly inflated. There was also the additional problem of once the traffic jam formed, even the good riders couldn't pick the correct lines because there were so many bikes on the track

Nice vid there edog200!! I enjoy watching some carnage on a hill. The hill in the vid looks decieving, it may not be the steepest but I can tell it's quite loose. Throw some softball size rocks in the mix and you have a recipe for some carnage for the lesser skilled riders. If you want to see a hill that looks as hard as it actually is check out my vid. Looks easy, but i guess if half the riders didn't make it up it can't be that simple.. in Tassie there are quite a few tracks that resemble more of a walking track than a motorbike trail, steep and really narrow

Tip to those less experienced riders: keep your feet "ON" the pegs using your legs as shocks not your bum on the seat, and.. hold it flat!!! haha

Hmm...it wasn't the steepest hill I'd ever been up but certainly stopped a few of the lesser skilled riders.

Burton, burton, burton, you just don't get it. This was a hill climb in a trail riding event not the international six day trial. Further these guys were the ones that didn't make it up and they well.....suck. But let's be clear I made it up...easy.
