  • Where you guys from in pa?? PM me if you like....I'm from pa myself and somewhat in the market to build a boosted crv. I've built plenty of civics..just have some questions etc.

  • Awesome car man I am looking into getting a crv for winter in DE and building a b20 on the side, by building I only mean sleeve it and connecting rods and arp head studs for boost, how does the transmission hold up to your power level, i'm only after about 280whp

  • @SuckerForBeeR as of now my trans holds up great shes currently holding 417 whp and well over 360 ft lb daily thx to the help of a comp stage 3 clutch

  • Thanks, i have a 1997 crv (B20) and i'm thinking of getting the engine remanufactured (commercially) then adding a bolt-on turbo.

  • who ever was drivin the camera car was babyin the clutch man

  • what's the difference between the B18 and the B20? what kind of turbo did u put on? is it the original engine or rebuilt?

    Thanks.

  • @gc1226gabriel b18 has 81mm pistons the b20 has 84mm pistons both b18 and b20 use the same crank shaft. im running a fully built b18 with a precision 5857e billet now and the b20 block is good till bout 300hp the b18 is good for about 500hp due to the b18 having a thicker side wall

  • How did you do this? Im getting a crv soon

  • @igeralddayawon i built it from a stock 98 v

  • Wow, very nice. So there's no issues with transmission or awd driveline with this power?

  • she holds almost 400 whp daily

  • did the builder sleeve the B18? if they did, why not just have the B20 sleeved and stay 2 liter? I built a high cr B20 (non vtec) and threw it in a hatch and man that thing was fun. of course it weighed abut 1200 pound less! lol

  • not yet when i do a a 35R turbo this winter im gonna have my block sleeved for 84mm pistons

  • @maddmatt02 the shell of that car weighs about 1200 lbs no fucking way the whole car did u dumb ass. more like 1900 if it was FULLY gutted

  • @donvitolover182 read again and then ask yourself who the dumbass is here... I said it weighed about 1200 lbs LESS, not that it weighted 1200 lbs you fool. my hatch weighed about 2100lbs, the CRV's weigh between 32 and 3300, QUICK, whats 3300 minus 2100??? 1200 lbs less... *dumb ass*

  • you should record one of these running the 21psi tune... you were running E85 for that setup right? why dont you run that setup daily? E85 is cheaper here than regular gasoline, is it not that way there? and what was the chase car?

  • @maddmatt02 i run e85 daily with 390 at the wheel i get about 18 mpg with e85 and 21 with 93 so for e85 being a dollar cheaper i run e85 when available. and right now shes in the shop i blew a oil pump :-( but as soon as shes out im gonna record a launch on e85 with 390 at the wheels.

  • @maddmatt02

completely bone stock 96 accord 4dr with 2.2 vtec

  • @leewaulk you saying the accord is the chase car? I drive a 96 non vtec coupe right now, sucks driving something so slow, doesn't it! lol. I guess it isnt so bad when you think how heavy they are and who they were probably marketed towards back in the 90's...
