O.o ....Clottey 9 rounds..im sorry bout i agree with the experts on this one. but no it was not a 116-111 decision....it was a 2 point decision fight....Cotto was Cotto....Clottey lost his chance to put Cotto away...CLOTTEY LOST THE FIGHT more then Cotto winning it. he has no right to complain it was his lack of heart that lost it for him. he did not finish it. therefor Cotto DID win it fair and square. the last 3 rounds Clottey shlled up and barely moved.

In the last rounds Cotto was moving from side to side and off the ropes, everytime Clottey tried to close Cotto down, Cotto countered and broke Clotteys momentum. Cotto was the better boxer down the back straight of the fight. 116-114

Clottey's such an accurate puncher, if he just picks up his work rate a little bit, he should win it easily. Like you said, Clottey's one bad side is he isn't busy enough, and will cover up. Cotto cant just stand and rip into Clottey, he'll eat too many counters and get KO'd. Hes gotta dance

The big thing for me in this fight or the questions still surrounding Cotto after the Margarito loss, split with his trainer, stamina and to some degree his hart. Im expecting Cotto to answer all of these questions and to out work Clotty in this fight, also look for Cottos foot work to play a big part in this fight.

I'm with you on this one Cotto by close decision in a tough fight. Watched the Clotty Corrales fight last night and was thinking Clottys uppercut is the key to this fight for him. Cotto has got hit through out his career with uppercuts, look at the Judah and Margarito fights. It also said Clotty came in to the ring at 170 for the Corrales fight, so itll be interesting to see what weight he is on fight night.
