  • damn those are some huge waves.

  • i remember surfing bill. and im 13 now. i was 11 when i surfed it. tht was the best day of my life

  • looks like an all time day at huntington beach pier

  • i like the surf but the music sucks dick

  • very nice waves! this area does not get blessed like this too often... so these guys are all stoked!! and that is all that matters. heads that are out to out do someone are really missing the fun in life... i feel sorry for you.

  • How big were these waves?

  • @FrothySurfer In foot terms 6-8 feet on average, which translates to a foot or two overhead on sets. Predictions had called for 10-12 foot swells but if fell well short of that, some areas on the east coast did get waves that size. What was nice was conditions were PERFECT, nice little offshore wind and fairly glassy conditions.

  • jesus christ drop in central

  • 3:21 could he not see that wave was going right ? :L

  • And nuts

  • These guys suck dick!

  • Omg those waves are real nice

  • these are som sick waves

  • this music fits these surfers so well lol

  • everyone sucks there all falling LMAO!

  • @DFPFTW But I bet they know the difference between their, there and they're. LMAO!!

  • @Quickbeam @Quickbeam that aint gonna help any of those kooks surf any better. this video should be edited down to about 1 minute.

  • 904

  • it looks like that paddle out is so far.

  • rep jax beach!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is so nice. This years hurricane season is suppose to bring surf like that but even more there predicting and better

  • @Scripp I was there and I can tell you Hell No we dont ever get surf like that! and i dont think the form was good enough to get a decent tube unless u caught the mac daddy wave.

  • Not one wave was caught at the peak. Why is everyone taking off on the shoulder?

  • @21msawyer you must not be a big surfer. if you took of on the peak you weren't going anywhere but gettin slammed

  • Best part about this day is the crowd as they all look like beginners.

  • good thing to know at the pier if its breaking like that there u can always go down about 7 or 9 blocks and it will be less crowded and sometimes better

  • yikes..never seen this many ppl dropping on others in one vid...ill pass.

  • the funny thing is, this is the best swell on the east coast in 20 years, pier is the most crowded jacksonville break and this isnt even one of the most crowded times ive seen the pier, it's been twice as bad on MUCH crappier days

  • Sucks I moved right b4 it

  • thats way too crowded. plus the waves werent that big there

  • everyone's dropping in on eachother shitty

  • you had to go down about 8-10 blocks peir couldnt handle it fucktard

  • St.augustine was like 10+ft :P

  • yea i surfed cresant and right at sunrise it was 10-12 occasionally 13 in the outside . fuciking epic!!

  • holy drop ins batman

  • 1:35 shoots the pier, Sick!

  • and on quick question? Do those guys ever get any surf at all? The take off zone for those waves was almost empty like everyone was scared to actually take off on the wave when it crested and take the risk of a tube or gnarly ride.

Most of the waves that were actually Large and would have been the best to surf went right by.

It was fun watching all the shoulder hoppers though.

  • man we get no waves, 1-2ft is a good day here haha

  • @Scripp naww we get like 1-3ft most the year

  • Nice waves, plus an unbelievable amount of snakes and drop-in artists. Must suck to live there.

  • Enjoyed the footage - thanks for sharing!

  • Koook central lol....nice waves what a shame

  • I surfed this swell about two weeks ago, best we've had in about 5 years. There were some great 10-11 foot sets early in the morning.

There's also going to be another swell this weekend, 5-6 foot waves. Best Summer of surfing I've had in a long time.

  • imagine waiting all summer for this!! glad I dont live in florida- no offense, but it is not the place to be if you surf. slater/hobgood, etc. must have traveled extensively

  • Whoa! Awesome swells. Looks like the west coast for sure. The Music is perfect for the action of the surprised JaxBeach crowd!

    Thank you QuickBeam

  • bill brought out every kook on the east coast

  • 4real

  • @jc111 LOL. Same here in the Gulf. Every time there's a storm hundreds of twice-ridden boards get pulled out of the garage and clog the lineup.

  • I had to freakin work. Worst part is my work is on the water so I had to watch this all day. Didnt get off till 4 and it was storming.

  • Sweet. Satellite and Cocoa Beach were great too. Anywhere on the east coast of the US for that matter. Never seen JAX Pier so thank you for posting this. -Steve, Cape Canaveral

  • ahh it was crazy yesterday. i didnt get out there until about 11. it was real choppy, but the swells were huge.

  • Hope you were able to hit it. Yeah, why does almost everyone snake each other? No respect.

  • kook after kook dropping in on each other. the music is appropriate for the surfers of jax beach...haha!!!
