As incredible as his performance is, I noticed many people in the comments section talking about how nimble he is etc... Thats BECAUSE he is a child, and although his strength and endurance can highly increase as he gets older, this nimble way of moving can only decrease as it peaks at a young age.

That's the difference between eastern and western culture. In Asia, they are taught discipline from early age and in western cultures at this age in most of the cases everything is still just a child's play.

Noneses (i live in asia before i get burned) Jet li choose this path. He even briefly STOPPED wushu till GREAT dissapointment of his sifu. HE returned and got treathed way harder then the rest of the class. As he explains in his bio.

There not indoctrinated thats just a urban myth. He always had a free will and choice. The beauty of Jet li is that there not like western/eastern martial artist that go measure there dicksizes compared to the skill the have. A very humbled man Jet.

It is a well known art called "Wushu". Most kids start practicing Wushu at 5.

I wouldn't really call it fighting, but it IS a martial art.

In fact Wushu is often used instead of kung fu :P Kung Fu means the way to perfect yourself, while wushu means something like "Chinese Martial Art" ;) So Shaolin is style of Wushu ;)
