hey man i have a '98 ranger too, and I'm trying to put in a some Pioneer radio cause the stock one doesn't have a CD player! I have all the parts to put it in except the right wires to plug up to the Pioneer radio cause the stock ones don't match. i went to wal mart and thought i found some adapters but they didn't match either. (I guess i got the wrong ones) so i was wondering where did you find the wire adapters for yours?

if its the stock head unit there should be 2 holes on each side if its a ford, if not basically same, if there are holes u can bend a coat hanger to fint in both and release the locks or buy a 5 dollar walmart kit to do the same, walmart also carries every other make of car stock head unit removal tools, just check the car audio section, thats all you should buy at walmart though lol, all same concept in removal though

It is a billet grille insert. You can get them on ebay. You have to cut the center out of your stock grille and mount the billet behind the surround.

You need to pop the cover off the window cranks and use a torx allen on that. Then there is two phillips screws under the handle and one in the bottom corner in the carpet. The door handle part will then pop off. Once that is off, one more screw under that and then just pull up and out. Once you do it once it is really easy.

Hey man love the truck i have a similar 1997 Ranger. I am currently shaving the door handles, tailgate, taillights, putting on a roll pan, ram air hood, fiberglass tonneau cover, and then throwing on a custom paint job. Two tone black and silver. I am also running a fairly similar system i have 3 alpine Type X 12s with the type R 5x7s with an amp running to them as well As soon as i get it all completed here in the next month or so i will post a vid. I am really digging the interior. NICE
