Clough had a really god point and noble intentions when he said the Leeds players should toss away their trophys cos they didn`t win them fairly.

in the Don Revie years the Leeds players where really bad sportsman they topped the charts for bad behaviour,constantly diving for free kicks and penalties and sliding in to dangerous challenges.

When Brain came too the club the players acted like twats cos they didn`t want him around Clough wasted his time at Leeds

Yeahm because you would have done a much better job than Clough. Funny how he's the one who took over a much shitter team in Forest and made them surpass Leeds' acheivements. Was Clough really going to say he respected Revie after slagging him off in the press constantly?

@Retrosp3k You are right. If I was Cloughie and I just landed the Leeds job, I would have told the players "Revie was a great manager and I also respect him. What we have to do now is build on what you have achieved and win more trophies" - that would have won him some respect.
