i had my old one for over 2 years, with no problems, until i played gta 4, then the shit started.
now i have a new 360 which is a new version with extra fans inside of it to keep it cooler, unlike the core systems which had 2 fans, the new arcade systems have 6 fans inside, which cools the processor chip.

.... yep they did, the testing phase takes 1 year+ so during the year that 360 was out and the ps3 wasnt, the ps3 wasnt putting more technology inside it, they were making tweaks and changing parts etc with the console to lower its failure rate and they did a great job, they were planned to both come out at the same time but microsoft rushed it and tried to get it out early to get it out before ps3... ps3 would have sold more if they both happened to come out at the same time like they should of

Its not over priced o_O PS3 costs so much because it comes with most of the accessories the 360 doesn't include. If you want to buy all the stuff for the 360 to match what PS3 already comes with, then it will cost a lot more than the PS3.

When mine broke (in 2007), I sent it back to Microsoft and they gave me a new one free. They worked on that one and made it special so that THIS one wouldn't brake, and it didn't break once in over 2 years!

i had my old one for over 2 years, with no problems, until i played gta 4, then the shit started.
now i have a new 360 which is a new version with extra fans inside of it to keep it cooler, unlike the core systems which had 2 fans, the new arcade systems have 6 fans inside, which cools the processor chip.

The ps3's failure rate is 0.2% way way way way way wayyyy less than the xbox's i dont no a single person which has had there ps3 broke... but EVERYONE i know with a 360 has either had break down due to failure... i mean com on they couldnt even find a way to put the charger pack inside the damn console, if it was inside, no 360 fanboy could say that the ps3 is to big because they dont even count the fuckin brick.... PS3 is cheap for a quality console... not a paper mache one

I myself have had 5 xbox 360's since launch, this one has survived 2 years now (barely use it though so that might be why) yet on the old consoles i still have my ps2 from launch, my ps1 from launch and my xbox 1, how come they have such a bad failure on this? ;) because they skipped the testing phase which should be against the law... ps3 didnt, thats why the failure rate on the ps3 is so low... and you know that ps3 + 360 had the same amount of developing time? ;) ...

.... yep they did, the testing phase takes 1 year+ so during the year that 360 was out and the ps3 wasnt, the ps3 wasnt putting more technology inside it, they were making tweaks and changing parts etc with the console to lower its failure rate and they did a great job, they were planned to both come out at the same time but microsoft rushed it and tried to get it out early to get it out before ps3... ps3 would have sold more if they both happened to come out at the same time like they should of

On one last note i'll like to say as stated before i always been a sony fan so my childhood was based on Ps and Ps2 and theres a lot of games that i love but can no longer get in stores.. but the PS3 classics section on the PSN lets me DL a list of PS PS2 games.. which Alone is just... Win! for me lol. i believe Wii has a feature like that too but unfortnately the X box has no history so they have no classics.. but they will eventually i suppose Heh...

Its not over priced o_O PS3 costs so much because it comes with most of the accessories the 360 doesn't include. If you want to buy all the stuff for the 360 to match what PS3 already comes with, then it will cost a lot more than the PS3.

true, i got my ps1 in 1994, when i was 4, it still works today, that's like 15 years now, i got my ps2 in march of 2001, i have had it for 9 years and it still works, my first 360 i got in december of 2006, in may it failed and got the 3 red lights, now it's a stand for my ps3 which i have had for 3 months and as for the xbox, well i brought a new 360 3 months ago with my ps3.

Yea motorstorm you glitch through the dirt but on PGR you don't so yea PGR is better plus you get better cars on PGR.
Forza has more realistic sounds than Gran turismo cause GT the tire sounds when you spin out sounds exactly like GT1 on the PSX.

gt prologue is not gt5... gran turismo 5 is not gunna be anything like that :S... gt prologue doesnt have a very wide solection of cars, maps are kinda crappy and the physics well i dont like em.. but on the other hand the graphics are absolutely amazing but im not about graphics but i know for a fact that gt5 is gunna be amazing, forza in my eyes doesnt stand a chance against gt5 because of the damage, graphics, sounds effects, cars, maps etc oh and because its a car simulator, amazing :)
