I was all for the peaceful rally, but I know how hard it is to get a "Permit" for a public rally/march and those permits have a "Time Limit" The Permit STATES "If the time is up and the police ask the crowd to dispurse, and the crowd response is threatening, then it is considered a "Riot Threat" and the Police will respond with Force!

Sorry, but illegal criminals don't throw it in the faces of U.S. police officers. The LAPD did a good job of dispersing the crowd of illegals and hopefully the illegal criminals learned a lesson. Scum!

Unfortunatly , the LAPD played into the leftist marxist propaganda tactics that have been used by all socialist . I can quarantee you that there is a core group of individuals that are estatic for the police response of brutality ... it will help to move their cause forward, WHILE shifting focus from the fact of law that you do not have a right to protest in this country if you are not a citizen.

I am fine with immigrants if they come here and obtain citizenship... if they pay taxes like aall citizens should... if they vote...
if they purposly evade becoming a citizen they should be deported... and have their homes raided... they aren't citizens and they don't intend on becoming them... that's why their homes are being raided...

Enough is enough, first they came here ILLEGALLY, second REFUSED to learn or speak English, then burned our US FLAG and claimed this is their country, now threaten our citizens and policemen. I hate to say that, but they really ruined our life style that we spend years to build.

why are they protesting in the first place? Can someone tell me? It's illegal immigration after all. ILLEGAL immigrants don't have rights in our country, they are ILLEGAL NOT LEGAL. Sure they should be treated decently, they are people just like us. But what do they have to protest about? I'm glad the police did something about it. I don't care if anyone calls me intolerant. I'm not very tolerant of anyone who breaks our laws and then think they have the rights we real Americans have.

good point dude they were freaking out about a law that bush was trying to pass about immigration and as you can see the ILLEGAL'S were protesting. and that crowd doesn't look too peaceful when the cops showed up (which is standard procedure for a protest like that because usually some trouble makers manage to cause a riot) and hey if the cops started it what's with the huge time lapse between the "peaceful protest" and the "lapd starting it"

To say the police started it all is a lie. I work in the area and get to and from work on the Metro Red Line and Metrolink to Orange County. So I was in the middle of it.
During the demonstration the trash build up was large. If they want to live here why do they have to throw trash in the streets or bottles at police officers.
Anti illegal immigration protesters were spit on by some of the marchers. The video does not show that. Illegal means illegal. Period

Just a little FYI, all the riot police that attacked people were onscene for about 4-5 minutes top. The crowd of people throwing stuff was already gone. They had not meet any resistance or had anything thrown at them. So why would they react so violently.

Would the term, SHIP, imply a boat? If it does, wouldnt it make more sense to ship you back to where your ancestors came from? Across the ocean? Last time I checked it, unless you are taking a luxury cruise to Mexico, it doesnt take a ship to get there. Just a one hour drive.
