I was very much in love with my High School sweet heart Gail. We were a year apart, when I went into the service and off to Vietnam we lost each other. I found her again after all these years about 5 years ago, we gotten together twice since then, and guess what, I still love her! But, the years have moved us in different directions! My only regret, I should have proposed before I left for Vietnam! Gail, if you ever read this, I loved you then, I love you now, you are allways in my heart!

I fell in love with Beverly at a Christmas dance when I was 17, as the band played this song. Sadly she did not feel the same way. But for the next 50 years, every time I hear the Chimes sing it, I think of her !
